Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

Just in case you're not aware, edits you make with OpenStreetMap are shared with _everyone_ . I doubt that there is really a bus stop called "Casa Edy"!

Please do continue editing, but please do only add things that are verifiable on the ground. If you want to add a personal bookmark to MAPS.ME you can - just select the thing that you want to bookmark and select "menu" and then "bookmark".

Best Regards,
Andy

Hello,
Is "Topps Pizza" spelt with 1 "p" or 2?
You've edited it with MAPS.ME, but unfortunately you'll need to use a proper editor (such as one of the ones from the "edit" menu on the openstreetmap.org website) if you want to change the name.
Or if that's too complicated, let me know if it is 1 p or 2 :)

Hi,
What's the correct name of node/453230694/history ? It currently has "name" and "name:en" tags that disagree with each other. I presume the name:en tag is rubbish because it was added by a MAPS.ME user, but you've edited since so I thought I'd check with you :)
Cheers,
Andy

Presumably this isn't spelt like this?

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
Rather than changing the name to "Don't exist!!" I'd suggest deleting it (if you're really sure that it was there, but isn't any more) or adding a note to OSM (if you were looking for it, but just couldn't find it).

Andy

You've changed "Micklegate Bar Museum" here to just "Micklegate Bar". Was that deliberate? The whole building is "Micklegate Bar", but the museum is (or was when I was last there) just the small room that you walk past in it.

Hello,
Please don't add test data to the live OpenStreetMap Server. If you want a test server, perhaps http://api06.dev.openstreetmap.org/ would work for you?

Hello jhob,
Just looking at
way/442031535 - I'm guessing that it should go between the two fences and join up with way/220173939 rather than a bit north of the fence? It might not be so obvious unless you zoom right in in the editor. If that's the case, would you like me to move it (or would you prefer to)?
Cheers,
Andy

Hello,
Can you explain what you were trying to record about way/445594131 ? Lots of tags have blank values.

Hi mapper999, For info, I believe that the editor used here is called "ComRAD", and the project is on behalf of the Asian Development Bank. There are some serious problems with it, and as I understand it @IamColleen is getting some bugs fixed before it is used again.

Andy

Something's gone wrong with the tagging here, I think? node/4424415391 has just a "name" and a "Name". It really needs some sort of non-name tag as well (perhaps "shop", perhaps "office", or perhaps it should be tagged as "man_made=works" if it is a small factory).

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap!
Unfortunately, something went wrong here - you managed to change the whole island into "Damanu Street". It's not your fault - there's a problem with the app that you've been given to map the island (I've already been talking to Colleen about that). Please don't use it for mapping until the problems are fixed.
If you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch, either with me directly through OSM, or with the Data Working Group via data@osmfoundation.org .
Best Regards,
Andy Townsend, on behalf of OSM's Data Working Group.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap!
Unfortunately, something went wrong here - you managed to change the whole island into a commercial building. It's not your fault - there's a problem with the app that you've been given to map the island (I've already been talking to Colleen about that). I'd suggest adding two separate nodes (tagged as "office=something") within the building. Have the name of the building (if there is one) on the building, and the name of each company on each node.
You'll probably need to do this with an editor on the osm.org website - MAPS.ME isn't good at editing names.

A quick glance at this changeset shows that, like The Netherlands, you've got Norway wrong too.

42529420

What are you trying to acheive here? Not all of the Netherlands is in Europe.
For any particular location in the Netherlands, such as relation/2323309#map=19/12.18963/-68.99648 the best way to see what continent it is in is to look at the location and what encloses it, rather than a tag.

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Is way/297897760/history really called "stay in washington" or is it just a hotel that you are staying at in Washington?
Best Regards,
Andy
Здравствуйте и добро пожаловать в OpenStreetMap.Действительно ли называется way/297897760/history "stay in washington", или это просто отель, что вы остановились в Вашингтоне?С наилучшими пожеланиями,Энди

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
You've added a name to way/292816967/history , which is great, but might want to consider tagging the wider park area way/292816966 as something, perhaps "leisure=park", if that's appropriate.
Alas, whether or not something is a Pokestop" isn't really appropriate for OSM; we map what's on the ground, not what's in a computer game.

Andy

Hi,
This is a changeset that covers most of the planet, and the changeset comment doesn't describe what you did. Instead of saying "osmose errors corrected" if you were to say (for example) "joined two roads where it was clear that they did actually join", and used smaller changeset bounding boxes, people locally would be able to see what had changed where they were, and why.
Best Regards,
Andy
