Don't think this should be a pedestrian area - going by Mapillary it just seems like a normal road but with paving stones, and the only restriction is no parking?

way/907778681 this bit might need to be updated, seems to be open? https://youtu.be/YSwv_sB2-yM?t=395

To answer the other changeset - don't know how to partially revert and not sure what history I removed?

Sorry about the untagged nodes, not easy to see them JOSM! Didn't think the layer tag was needed as almost none of the other piers in OSM have a layer tag.

Regarding this changeset - don't forget to check the offset of imagery, as you moved the platform out of alignment with everything else :)

I've reverted this changeset to restore the more detailed outline of the loch.

Maybe these shouldn't be tracks?

Hi, not sure if you're aware but the Bing imagery is slightly out of alignment with the existing map data, OS and ESRI clarity (old Bing).
There is a OSM UK Cadastral parcel background layer available to hep align Bing, you can add an offset of 3.3,-2.4 which I used when making changes here. :)

Please be aware of the note tag that you missed, it's not a one way road way/145981769

In that case, as we can't really have each fairway tagged as an individual golf course, I've added them to a relation and removed the larger area. relation/12910287

Hi, I've removed the golf course tag from each individual hole you mapped and added a rough outline of the golf course instead, feel free to improve it. way/960212522

The preset list is non-exhaustive and shipwrecks are more common :)
Going by the photo here: https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2083350 I've changed it to a memorial plaque. Not sure if needs a separate historic=aircraft_wreck

I thought HBOS was just the company name of the merged banks. But anyway I've fixed those two, going by Mapillary/Geograph and confirmed on the BOS website.

Think there's a difference between "normal" missing data and the need for someone to check something specific in this case, which is exactly the sort of thing that a note should be used for?

Notes can be seen by users who are surveying an area using the StreetComplete app, easily shown on osm.org and can be viewed in an RSS feed. IMO more likely to be seen and acted upon than a fixme :)

Might be worth adding the PO opening hours if you can get them :)

Is the path alongside the A702 you've tagged as bicycle=designated actually a signed shared use path or just a narrow pavement?

106957174

HBOS isn't a bank so not sure why you added that name? And it would also be better if you added a note to the map instead of a fixme tag, as they are more likely to be noticed, surveyed, and fixed.

Not sure how access=no on a path where the tag is not needed is an improvement.

89289261

Right, but this is the only part of the towpath around here which has access=no. And with bike/foot/horse=yes, the access=no tag seems redundant since vehicles can't go on a highway=path anyway. So unless the towpath is closed, think it's best to remove it (it'll render properly on the map as well)

89289261

What's the reason for way/24653034 being access=no?

106825053

I first saw it on the talk-gb mailing list, seems like https://osmuk.org/cadastral-parcels/ explains more.

It's OS data so should be fairly accurate. Though I suppose the main thing is to have a consistency in the town (with whatever background is used) to avoid various bits being out of alignment!

Hi, just a comment on your use of fixmes. It's probably better to use the OSM notes feature as people are more likely to notice them with the notes layer rather than the fixme tag in the data. :)

106825053

Sorry to be a pain, but would you mind turning on the OSMUK Cadastral Parcels layer and aligning Bing first? :) Seems to be about 3,-4.5 offset here.
