Again this is not a single building, why have you added the tag shop=mall, it is a retail park. What Americans call a strip mall.

Why have you tagged Charlies as a garden centre?

Bore da, last time I was here the retail park was not a single large building. The shops were very definitely separate buildings and my car was left outdoors in the car park. What are you trying to correct.
Also a bigger concern is what is the source of the unit addresses as they were not in OSM before?

Cheers Phil

Again, why have you done this?

There is no single building covering the retail park, the car park is clearly outside.

Again why, what are you correcting? There is not a single building covering the entire retail park.

Hi, what are you correcting here? You seem to have deleted the retail area, which doesn't look wrong to me.

HI, these edits have gone kind of pear shape.
You have removed the building tags from the buildings and have then added a large building which covers the entire retail park, including the car park. Please can you explain what you were trying to fix as your changeset comment does not explain it too well.

Hi, this change is little confusing.

You have added a name:en to the cafe, whilst leaving the name in place. If the name has changed, then you should change the name tag. I Assume the name should be Blasau Delicatessen and is no longer Royal House. Also based on the name is it still a cafe?
In Wales I would only expect to see name:en alongside name:cy.
Also wondering why your locale is set to en-AU?

Hi, welcome to OSM.
What is the source of this height? I do not remember it being 78m tall :)

More seriously I suspect you meant 78 feet, that should be entered as 78', although it is preferred for buildings that the value is converted to metres.

Hi Srinatpa
What was wrong with the original mapping of the bollard?

A bollard blocks routing of motor_vehicles with all routers I know of, and if that is not occuring with the router your drivers are using then it suiggests that the router is broken and should be fixed.

What router are your drivers using?

If the bollard needed access tags to clarify then they should have been added to the bollard, for example the bollard may be removable to allow emergency access. But typically motor_vehicle=no, foot=yes, bicycle=yes, horse=yes.

This area has been on the to-survey list for a couple of months, an unpaved residential road is a bit odd, especially the way other roads are arranged around it,

For flooding, rain and lockdown reasons the survey has yet to happen.

If you want to see PROW refs you need a more specialist render of the OSM database. For example http://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/map/map.html#zoom=18&lat=52.866147&lon=-2.727271

Hi Will, I have no idea what a TIPLOC is and wouldn't recognise one if I saw one.

What I am concerned about is the addition of unverifiable objects into OSM based on guesswork.

A simple search would have told you that Mantle Lane is elsewhere. However what timetable are you using? This is a goods line and there has been no regular goods services beyond Bardon Hill since the closure of the pits.

Hi, this edit has gone rather wrong.

There has been a bollard mapped here for several years, and this alone should prevent the passage of motor_vehicles. I have tested this with OSRM, Graphhopper and OSMand so I am concerned that you felt this edit necessary.

What router are your drivers using? If it was routing this way suggests that the problem is with the router and you should be raising a bug with the developers, not changing valid OSM data.

The other issue I have with this and other similar Amazon edits is your choice of footway. These features are to prevent Rat Running by motor vehicles, not to prevent cycling, so in these cases a cycleway would be far more appropriate. Please review the other cases where these changes have been made.

Hi, this is rather a long way from Mantle Lane, why have you put it here?

Hi, I am rather surprised to find this service road here, way/733631503

This area is now a quarry, so I would be rather surprised if your drivers have provided GPS traces. The imagery you used is not the latest and when editing surely the landuse=quarry on the surrounding area should have been a big big clue.

Hi
These edits look rather odd to me, please could you explain what sources you are using?

These edits do seem to be a long way from your other edits.

Hi, welcome to OSM.
Please keep you changesets to sensible areas, adding buildings on two different continents should have been split into at least two changesets as it creates a large bounding boxes that other mappers see in their area.

Please also use meaningful changeset comments which actually describe what you are doing. Meaningless hashtags alone are gobbledygook and tell the OSM community nothing.

Ok, so lets assume the English Imperialistic name is ok as.the name tag,

OSM is still a geographical database which users render in many different ways. Some render the map in Welsh, this includes places in England or other countries. That uses name:cy, and in this case I have put it back to Abertyfi.

82345933

Why have you deleted the Welsh name from Abertyfi?
It is verifiable on local signage.

Reino
What you are describing is (mis)tagging for the renderer, which is an absolute no no in OSM. Please stop doing this.
osm.wiki/Tagging_for_the_renderer

OSM is primarily a geographical database and your explaination is at best only true of the default renderer.

Mapping features such as this is best done by a survey, they are often indistinct and are certainly not something that can be armchaired from aerial imagery.

Also why do you assume what is inside the stone circle is different to that surounding it?
