Can you be specific about the source you used as your comment in note note/4205489 suggests an invalid source may have been used.
For the avoidance of doubt the statement facts cannot be copyrighted is the fact that the collection of them can be.
Vou should certainly read osm.wiki/Copyright_information_for_UK_mappers and pay attention to the part about Crown Copyright.

Openstreetmap is used by many more people than the club so please bear this in mind before deleting.
We are all volunteers and will never know all the uses of the data we contribute.
We appreciate your work so please don't delete any more.

Whilst this edit has been reverted, something is going very seriously wrong as you have again got the postcode wrong and from that you have also got the street, hence address wrong. For some bizarre reason the postcode isn't what is used on the GSF Website.

In future it would be a good idea if importing uprns was done in separate changesets to adding/improving buildings and roads and keep these to a reasonable size.
I can see that this one was a mistake but its important to check settings, although in josm for me unticking close is the action I occasionally need, it is never the default.

Possibly but the original request was also to produce smaller changesets as we are receiving cries for help from overwhelmed local mappers, so he came back with this monster.

A partial revert would have been more time consuming and problematic than the script revert. This can always be reverted after the right responses.
