Is that mappable / on the ground?

Also, what do you mean by locked:conditional=yes?

Thanks! It's been a few years since I was at this park, but your edits look reasonable. One question I have is why you added bicycle=designated to many of these trails. Is there a sign that specifically permits bicycles?

Thanks again for your contributions and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

Thanks. You marked this as a bookmaker, but apparently, that's a British term for a sports gambling shop (I had no idea!). Based on your note at the old location, I changed this to a bookbinding shop.

Why did you overwrite a bunch of fixme=* tags with "Needs name"? For example, way/6121903/history/6 had a useful and meaningful fixme that you seem to have unintentionally removed.

Hello! This changeset seems to have added the same building at least 5744 times. I'm reverting this for now, until we can figure out what went wrong.

Okay, thanks!

Thanks. Do you know what bus routes stop here now? Looks like route 109 is nearby, anything else? Any Sound Transit buses? I'd love to try to get the bus routes to reflect this new P&R.

Thanks again for your contributions and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

Looks good to me. Thanks for the contributions and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

@OTTO%20European%20Repair we would love to get your business onto OpenStreetMap, but unfortunately due to copyright laws we would need you to tell us the business information directly. Thanks!

The bus=yes tags were removed last year, I'm not sure why. I'd say hold off on adding bus=yes back, until we sort this out with the community. Currently under discussion at https://osmus.slack.com/archives/C1FKE1NCA/p1781062016818029 (on https://slack.openstreetmap.us/).

What is this edit for? Please describe you intent using a changeset message, rather than just using the same "Updated metadata" for every changeset. It helps a lot when reviewing edits!

Are you sure this camera is manufactured by Flock, and not just a regular traffic camera?

183748285

Oh my, you really are ahead of the learning curve. JOSM gridify is one of the most fun plugins. Soon you'll start being able to tell who hires fancy parking lot contractors and whose are a little wobbly (Costco has amazingly consistent rows, for example).

Oh, so this changeset was to realign stuff you added to Bing, then?

Thanks for being on top of it. Imagery alignment is a big pain. The reason the misaligned orthoimagery has been the default in King County for the last month or so is because it was incorrectly marked as the preferred default "best" layer on the Editor Layer Index (https://osmlab.github.io/editor-layer-index/). I've since removed it, but the updated ELI data hasn't been pulled into the iD web editor still because there hasn't been a new version of iD released for several weeks.

JOSM, - which you've already dabbled with according to https://hdyc.neis-one.org/user/WHS%20Contributor - is better at being able to save imagery offsets. JOSM definitely has a waaay steeper learning curve, but I recommend trying it out some more because it's so powerful, and there are lots of useful plugins available.

I believe Bing imagery is the canonical version, not King County ortho. I think the reason is that King County ortho doesn't correct for elevation.

I don't think this was quite correct. For example, consider node/8459248662/history/4 — it is a book box with a Little Free Library charter, but it doesn't really have a name=* (in fact, it was already tagged with noname=yes!). But of course this was several years ago now.

Happy mapping!

Ref note/5320769.

I suspect a pokemon-related type of edit, but this could also be well-intentioned? I'll close that note and we'll see what the user has to say.

Sounds reasonable. We'll see if the other user has information to the contrary.

Cool, thanks!
