| 73357789 | Great, I know some real estate developers around here are using some pretty hip names these days but I guess NYCHA's still a little more conservative! |
| 73011657 | Hi Zverik -- You've changed a few service roads here to access=destination with the source listed as "Juno provider traces" but I don't see any sign of Juno activity on these roads. Last I surveyed here all of these were signed as authorized vehicles only -- has this changed? J |

| 73380147 | Hi MustafaD, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Question for you -- you seem to be naming everything you add in Manhattan some variation on "Manhattan Simit&Simit" -- two supermarkets in this changeset and also this cafe:
Offhand this seems odd that all of these things would have the same name... is this maybe a mistake? |
| 73357789 | Hi Korzun, I see you changed the name of this NYCHA project from Ingersoll Houses to subTtile -- is this a mistake? |
| 73285420 | Hi r_c -- I'm guessing the location of this bar is off? Probably should be somewhere around here: node/6704294378#map=19/40.69704/-73.93470 (Looks like there's a brand new building there that hasn't been mapped yet... so much for "Old Timers"!) |
| 73157428 | FYI I reverted the zip code to 11206. These guys have it wrong on their website -- 10221 isn't even a valid zip code! |
| 72996073 | Hi Daniel, regarding node/4564264140 -- this is not a shop, it's a disused restaurant. |
| 72990083 | Howdy red_clover -- just FYI I already added these Brooklyn Brainery locations as office=skill_share: node/2568710165
I made that tag up, and I think it's decent... If you want to tag these as schools (which certainly makes some sense), go for it. But better to add that tag to the existing nodes rather than create new ones. Happy mapping, J |

| 72812470 | Hi again Timothy... in this changeset there are two fast-food amenities that you assigned brand info to: node/5742310959
These are independent establishments, not related to the chain restaurants indicated by the brand tags you added. There's also another case of a Rite Aid convenience store containing a pharmacy ( node/5203205583 ). Its signed name is "Rite Aid Pharmacy" (no Wallgreen's this time.) You've renamed it to just "Rite Aid" and you've changed the enclosing store from a convenience store to a chemist. I understand that these are suggestions being made by iD's overzealous attempts to "upgrade" map features with brand info, overriding surveyed info. In some cases these are improvements, but this button makes it very easy to add incorrect information to the map. For some features -- banks and accountants, eg -- it's probably pretty safe. For restaurants and fast food, I'd ask you to verify first that the place in question is part of the chain. And I'm obviously not too fond of assumptions that it makes about drug stores and pharmacies! Sorry for the rant. As usual, please contact or leave a map note if there's something that doesn't make sense or needs a local survey. Thanks, Jason |

| 72438930 | No prob... I agree it's a little weird but there are several around. There are also Duane Reade stores with a Wallgreens Pharmacy inside ( eg way/617474312 ) but that makes a little more sense because they're owned by the same company. Please feel free to contact me if there's anything in the future like this that doesn't seem to make sense (or just leave a map note.) Happy mapping. J |

| 72576174 | No prob, thanks for writing back! The standard is -- *IF* all roads going through an intersection have to stop there, then using a single highway=stop on the intersection node is fine. Otherwise, we have to put them only on the roads that actually have a stop sign. I looked at the map editor and it seems to present a choice when you're adding a stop sign, that it should either be a "all-way" stop or a "minor" stop. Unfortunately this confuses the issue, because adding that tag (all-way or minor) doesn't really work. It's the position of the node that matters most:
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for your work & happy mapping, J |

| 72534574 | FYI I have removed the hotel tags from this building. |
| 72891394 | Hi -- the website for this real estate business seems to indicate that it's located in Saratoga Springs. What's the source of this address on Chase Road? |
| 72576174 | I've fixed this in changeset/72863247, see https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/70227/highwaystop-stopminor-on-intersection |

| 72438930 | Hah, bad link. https://imgur.com/a/IW95EwN |

| 72438930 | Hi again Timothy. Lacking any response from you I've reverting this error with changeset/72824112. In case you don't believe me:
| 72755810 | Hi, is this location correct? Just seems to be a deli in this building. |
| 72576174 | Hi MxxCon, wondering about this stop sign node... There's already a stop sign mapped on the Harden Street side of this intersection ( node/5008464548 ) but from street level imagery ( https://www.bing.com/maps?cp=40.621597~-73.93478&lvl=17&dir=50.74&style=x&v=2&sV=1 ) it doesn't appear that there's any stop sign affecting Flatland Avenue. Are you using different imagery? |
| 72553997 | Hi NogaDeutsch, welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for your edits. I've reverted this particular changeset because the information you've added is incorrect. I don't know what your source for this information is (in the future please add a "source" field in your changesets or mention the data source in your changeset descriptions) but it's not precise enough to use for mapping. There is a Restoration Hardware store nearby, but the location you used is wrong. Furthermore, adding a retail landuse is not the correct way to add a store to the map. It should be added as a shop, not a landuse. I'm happy to advise if you have any questions.

| 72534574 | Hi Daniel! Regarding way/575640290 , from the Schermerhorn side it looks like this whole building is the Hilton, but the hotel actually only occupies parts of a few floors, with the rest being apartments and other businesses. That's why I mapped it as a node ( node/5043356681 ). |
