I mean the tag you added is redundant / duplicate information. It is already covered by the main key "man_made=milk_churn_stand". "subject" is for objects (memorial, artwork) which depict or commemorate something or someone.
subject:wikidata=*

If you intended to re-tag it as memorial, you should change the main key as described here;
man%20made=milk%20churn%20stand?uselang=da#Memorials_in_the_shape_of_milk_churn_stands

Hey AE35,

This seems like descriptive tagging. See
osm.wiki/Names#Names_are_not_for_descriptions

It is correct in case it is a (preferably explicitly) designated memorial or artwork. It seems it is not explicitly signed as such, at least.

Otherwise, please provide a compatible source and add the appropriate main tag instead.

Daniel

Hey Caprahircus,

Thanks for your contribution to OpenStreetmap. Regarding your changeset comment, objects are by default "used". Usually a lifecycle tag (disused=yes) is added if they are not. However, for milk churn stands this recommendation has been more or less discarded, as for many it is clear they are disused (and otherwise it may be unverifiable if they are in use).

You can always contact the community if needed. See

Hey Liamio2,

Thanks for your contribution to OpenStreetMap. I have added a description to the milk churn stand you added based on aerial imagery (Bing, april 2021). Could you verify this description if possible, please?

There is not a cafe anymore?

Ah, okay. If it helps to see where things are, taking pictures from a distance -a bit outside the playground / from on the path- should be fine as long as you're just walking by.
The park could do with a little more imagery maybe but it isn't too bad, assuming there aren't many unmapped things there.

The POIs look a bit cluttered at the moment, the bottom left corner doesn't have the POIs in the right place at least. It may be helpful to take fieldpapers or Every Door to get a better idea of their location if it's not as easy to know/remember them well or if you just want to add them later.
Is the Esri imagery resembling how it looked like when you were there, or not?

136748385

Looks like some adjustments will be needed to the POI positions. Have you also taken new imagery?

Note, you are using the national orthophoto -there's also a elevation model available-. There should be (almost) no offset. National orthophotos may've only become available in the editor recently. If you track the road south you will see the first part was last edited 2014 or 2019 with Bing, Esri (and some private gps trace which isn't quite verifiable):
- node/3217135269/history
- node/3217135273/history
and there are few nodes in some places, which means they may not be as accurate.
Then there is nodes from 2008
node/290742836/history
and the next part has been aligned to the aerial imagery in 2021
node/8362757563/history
You could additionally check with the Strava heatmap layer how well it corresponds.

I would suggest asking a moderator to revert it to its previous position.

Hey Casper,

Ik stel voor covered=yes ipv covered=building_passage te gebruiken. Minder verwarrend (overdekt is ie toch).
Ik neem aan dat deze weg aan drie kanten (semi-)open is. (ook met kolommen is dit zo.)
Wellicht is dit slechts een typfout.

Groet,

Daniel

(which I personally assume is the person it refers to)

Hey vaibhavnz,

Thanks for the addition. Do try to verify your edits using available sources in the editor, please. (other aerial imagery and streetside imagery); in this case it seems to be visible on Bing Streetside. You should specify these sources when saving your edits.
