In Ireland and Northern Ireland, there are about 8,000 mapped objects with the tag bicycle=no: https://taginfo.geofabrik.de/europe:ireland-and-northern-ireland/tags/bicycle=no Most are legitimate for things like motorways and road tunnels.

If you look at the map: https://taginfo.geofabrik.de/europe:ireland-and-northern-ireland/tags/bicycle=no#map you can see that they are concentrated in Dublin and the Midlands, with smaller clusters elsewhere.

If I exclude things like motorways, steps, and piers, this leaves about 1,100 mapped objects: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/2u9f (this link may be slow or possibly fail) The vast majority of these mapped objects are individual nodes along roads that have been tagged only with bicycle=no. Invariably, they were created in your changesets.

While some are along farm tracks and other minor roads, others are on public roads.

This is name="Belfast - Isle of Man Steam Packet" and from=Belfast. However, the actual way is shown coming form Larne.

I could fix it, but there are more than 1,000 of them (not all by you) across the midlands from Celbridge to Roscommon.

I will have to work out a strategy.

I'm wondering why this node is tagged bicycle=no. Doing this has the effect of saying that cyclists can't use this section of the N52 and that they need to make a huge detour to travel a short distance e.g. osm.org/directions?engine=fossgis_osrm_bicycle&route=53.47012%2C-7.35934%3B53.46169%2C-7.3599

That is obviously incorrect.

These are new / recent houses.

I've added garden walls and fences. Hopefully I have it right. The oddness of the layout is so that everyone gets at least some private outdoor space from a planning permission point of view.

Thank you for the contributions around Rush. I had done a fair bit of mapping there about a 18 months ago, but had difficulty completing some mapping because of lack of higher quality imagery.

No, not on site. It didn't stop staff and students during lunch though (different pubs).

That said, the school yard of my primary school is now a beer garden.
