Great!

Removed the Purgason school, this data is from 2012, before the Typhoon in 2014 and nothing is visible on the satellite imagery

I removed buildings marked as collapsed back in 2013.
They have been marked as collapsed after a typhoon, and since then the mapping effort has been abandoned.
This leaves many non existing buildings, rebuilt buildings with the wrong shape, and few existing buildings tagged as collapsed.
I believe it is better and faster to remove them, and add the reconstructed building with the right shape and position little by little during normal mapping.

I like that it gives full access to the tags, but can still also be used in an assisted way. It is very complete and allows complex editing. I have to admit it was a little hard to get used to at the start. ^_^
I mostly use it only on the go, when I do not have access to Josm, mainly because it is the first mobile editor I discovered...
This time I tried out StreetComplete. Very convenient to add details while riding a taxi...
I accidentally removed the marking from a pedestrian crossing. (I always got "Does this crossing have a central island", but here I replied "no" to "is the crossing marked".)
Since I could not find how to undo my change, I used Vespucci.

Hi again,
I just noticed this is clearly a duplicate. I'll remove it.

Walay Sapayan!
If you have local knowledge about the TV5 transmitter antennas or buildings, feel free to improve. The Sattelite picures I used are not very clear unfortunately...

There is another Tindahan Ni Kalir more south-ouest. Duplicate?

Hi Gowin,
Are you sure SachoKito's Little Kyoto is here?
Looks to be much more West. See my notes.
Cheers,
Totor

Hi CholoRommmm,
Another remark before you add too many names: names should not be entered in all capitals. (Except maybe for abbreviations).
I'm impressed by the number of points of interest you added in a few days.
Keep up the good job!

Hi again,
Sorry for the numerous comments. Getting used to the tags in openstreetmap can be hard at first ^_^
Don't give up!
Sari-sari stores (tindahan) are usually mapped as shop=convenience.

181788918

Hi CholoRommmm,
Is this mainly a shop? or just a small restaurant on the streetside ?
The name seems to indicate this should be mapped as amenity=fastfood, or restaurant.
Have a look here for common Filipino POI tags:
osm.wiki/Philippines/Mapping_conventions

181788719

Have a look at :
shop=variety%20store?uselang=en
and
shop=convenience
For the difference between the two shop types.

181788719

Hi CholoRommmm,
Great you are adding to the OSM map!
I believe this store should be a shop=convenience, not a variety_store.
A variety_store seems to apply more to low cost / dollar stores, with only articles <100PHP (or some other small amount).

Hi Timmy,
I thought it looked like a bridge on Esri, but clearly is not!

Hi ajmat,
Was this revert triggered by my comment on the original changeset, or did you stumble on it by yourself?
I would have given the user a little more time to reply before to revert the edit. I know it becomes more complicated with time, but we really can use more contributors in Cebu, and a revert of a first edit is not very encouraging ^_^
Cheers,

Totor

Hi Twenty123,
Your edit has been reverted by another mapper:
changeset/179981524
Don't let this discourage you from trying again, maybe with smaller changes at first.
If you need any help don't hesitate to leave me a message.

Hi Twenty123,
Welcome to Openstreetmap, and congrats for your first edit!
I noticed that there are several nodes and highway sections that have been deleted by this edit. For first edits, it is better to avoid deleting items, because they may serve other purposes than what is obvious at first glance.
Some of the nodes were pedestrian crossings like these:
node/322734849/history/8
node/1085677191/history/7
They are clearly visible on the satellite imagery, so I guess this was a mistake trying to simplify the highway?
Also the section of Pepito Street you removed :
way/1472098460/history/1
is still needed if left turns are allowed on Cebu North road.
It would be better to update turn restrictions, than to remove the whole section. (But I agree that is more difficult)
If the deletions were not done on purpose, I can help to put them back (revert them) if you want.
Please let me know.

Cheers

Totor

Hi Deco Bernat,
Great you are contributing to Openstreetmap. All help is very welcome.
I noticed you added 3 hardware stores, but all all in weird locations.
Vis-min marketing seems to be a motorcycle part store and not a hardware store.
Also it seems it is located closer to pier 3.
Are you sure this is correct?
If you need help, let me know.

Hi Dmesa,
I believe you accidentally dragged Paradise Village Road ^_^ .
All perpendicular roads now have weird angles.
Keep up the mapping!
Cheers,
Totor

Hi Matheusz,
Not sure what I saw there 6 years ago, but I think I would have been happy with shop=beverages.
Looking back at the picture, and by the name, it looks like they are actually selling Chicken=Manok (to cook/roast, or already roasted).
