It is better to use amenity=school and to remove the building=yes tag.
The building tag should only be used on the individual buildings.

Please understand that other mappers are not happy if you remove their work.
So always delete things with caution.
If there is a good reason, please add a clear changeset description to explain why you removed things.

Great all the features you are adding!
Just a little note:
building=residential is for residential buildings, not filling stations...
Further on, you used it on a land area. The building tag should be used on individual buildings, not on a land area containing buildings.

I would use a smaller building matching the actual building of the filling station, and use building=yes (could be building=retail), amenity=drinking_water, bottle=yes and fee=yes.
