Personally, I wouldn't add "place=isolated_dwelling" for things such as node/4239537498 . If a house is visible on the Bing imagery I'd add that as a house, and if the name's visible on OS OpenData I might be tempted to add that as a house name, but house and farm name information on OSSV is so out of date that I'd definitely add a "source:addr:housename" or similar for it.
The nearby node/4239537556 might still be called that and might still be a farm, but many former farms house light industrial units or have become essentially residential. Bing here suggests "farm or light industrial" rather than "residential".

I'd certainly agree that it would make sense to render abandoned railways such as this one that are still major features on the ground on any map that tries to represent what's visible locally.

I'm not sure about "local councillors ... could not be expected to do other than look at the "standard map" though - OSM really isn't in the rendering business, and the "standard" map, if it's for anyone, is for mappers. I certainly rarely use it.
The people who are in the rendering business (the MapBoxes and Thunderforests of this world) surely have better alternatives.

I'm sure that there are other map styles that render significant features such as abandoned railways; https://github.com/SomeoneElseOSM/openstreetmap-carto-AJT is one, but there are presumably more.

Also note that "Creative Commons Attribution 4.0" on its own is not compatible with OSM's ODBL licence.

@Warin61 it depends on the type of beet, actually. Certainly in the UK a lot aren't grown as table vegetables but to be processed into sugar at e.g. way/177546270 . The latter tend to be referred to (at least agriculturally) as "sugarbeet" - they're larger and less red than a traditional table beetroot.
I've no idea whether Italy has a large sugarbeet (or beetroot) industry, though.

Hi, not sure what happened here but a small park seems to have been teleported from northern California to the middle of the Atlantic. any idea how that could have happened? What were you trying to do when at the time - if we could feed that info back to the app developers it might help them fix it.
