"File:Null_Island_2017.jpg" doesn't look to be a valid image?

(apologies for not spotting it earlier, by the way)

Hello,
This changeset has copied the tags from the existing hotel node/4747951301 onto the building so that it looks like there are two hotels here. Why have you done this? In what way was it wrong before?

Andy

An edge case is where a trail is still visible on satellite imagery, but on the ground it's no longer there. In that case it makes sense to record the fact that despite it being visible on imagery, in reality it's not a path any more. way/678188487 is an example of one that I've mapped like that near to me.

Hello,
Andy from OSM's Data Working Group here (someone mentioned this discussion over at OSM US' slack, for info).
If a trail exists on the ground, it's perfectly fine to add it to OpenStreetMap. If access is somehow restricted, then use access tags to describe who, if anyone, is allowed to use it.

Andy

Hello shuyuanchen,
The changeset comment that you've used here "#hotosm-project-10091;#liga-zambia;#gomicron21twsg;#gomicron21tw;#gomicron21twf11meprod" doesn't contain any description of what you're actually doing, just a string of gibberish letters. Please use real words to describe what you're doing. See osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for more information.

@BCNorwich For completeness, the roundabout here was a complete fantasy.

Hello tjnakano,
Andy from OSM's Data Working Group here. To confrm what okadatsuneo said above, you can't use any Google Maps as a source for OSM. We'll need to go though previous changes and undo those where you have used Google as a source (if any).
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello Joseph,
Andy from OSM's Data Working Group here.
I can see that lots of users have been in contact with you at http://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=10944197 , and you've replied to some of their comments.
However, you do seem to be making lots of edits that other people have problems with.
What I'd suggest that you do is to slow down in your mapping a bit, and after you've done something new ask people if they think it's OK before moving on to the next thing.
Another thing that would be a really good idea would be to talk more with the other people making these sorts of edits. There's lots of this sort of discussion going on at https://slack.openstreetmap.us/ , and there's also a mailing list at https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-us .
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello ridethehighway65, and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
The comment that you've used on this changeset is just "smg5". That doesn't really explain to other people what you were changing, why, or what the source was.
osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments has a bit more information.
Best Regards,
Andy

This follows on from changeset/105565855 also deals with other node change fails in there too, retracing from allowable imagery.

Had I got back to it before the changeset auto-closed, I'd have written:
Force-deleting some ways that were missed by changeset/105567773 (following a report to the DWG, reverting some edits based on SP MANWEB data).
