Hello,
Please don't add test data to the live OpenStreetMap Server. If you want a test server, perhaps https://master.apis.dev.openstreetmap.org/ would work for you?
Best Regards,
Andy

> The difficulty with having an indeterminate set of bridge values is that it is impossible to determine which of the unusual values are actually bridges.

Speaking as someone who's done that, no it isn't:

To be honest, as there's no highway or railway over it I'd add the "man_made=bridge" object (as a closed way) if possible.
It'd donkey's years since I've been to the Priest House though, so my memory isn't up to it.

Hello Krital and Welcome to OpenStreetMap!
You may not be aware, but when you edit OpenStreetMap you're editing a map that everyone can see, not just your personal copy. Please do continue editing, but please do only add things that are verifiable on the ground. If you want to add a personal bookmark to MAPS.ME you can - just select the thing that you want to bookmark and select "menu" and then "bookmark".
Best Regards,
Andy Townsend, on behalf of OpenStreetMap's Data Working Group.

Hello,
Did you create http://tasks.hotosm.org/project/3765 and http://tasks.hotosm.org/project/3766 ? If so, you might want to have a look at changeset/53348097 and the mailing list thread at https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk/2017-October/079378.html .
Best Regards,
Andy

Hi,
I think you might be overinterpretating the imagery a bit here. I can't see any source for way/537176988#map=19/25.35680/-12.04784 in any of the available imagery and at node/5202318119/history it looks like the wall goes north, not east?

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
Looking at some of the changes here such as way/536717413 I think you may be "overinterpreting" the imagery somewhat.
If you look at the different imagery choices available you can get a feeling for the scale quite while, and its clear that none or almost none of the buildings that you've added here actually are buildings (that's clear with both Bing and your custom imagery - in fact your custom imagery, if later, suggests that buildings shown on Bing have been removed).
Assuming you're not in the West Bank at the moment, what I'd suggest is that you try mapping things more locally to you first - often it's useful to look at the imagery of a place you know well to see how certain features look from the air. It can be difficult to tell roads from e.g. riverbeds if you're not careful.
If you're in the UK (guessing, based on your editor locale of en-GB above) then there are lots of local groups both HOT-based and non-HOT based where you can discuss mapping; there are also mailing lists and other forums - osm.wiki/Contact has lots of details.

Andy

Your changes to way/530914953/history suggest that this is simply a mechanical edit made without engaging your brain. Clearly the mapper there has misunderstood how to map amenities; you have now made the map suggest that the entire pier area is a toliet.

53253773

I didn't say "shop=pharmacy", I said "shop=chemist". I've reverted this. Local mappers will be able to pick up the correct tagging in each case.

You've used a comment here of "PossibleSynonym", but I think you need to explain a bit more about why you've deleted a couple of the things here.
Best Regards,
Andy

Please don't fight edit wars in OSM over political disputes.
http://osm.mapki.com/history/way.php?id=45382981
Where there are disputes, the OSMF rules are set out at http://wiki.osmfoundation.org/w/images/d/d8/DisputedTerritoriesInformation.pdf . Specifically, the "on the ground rule" applies. OSM doesn't immediately add each self-declared country as an admin-level 2 state; but if the region in question passes the "duck test" for having the features of a state then it'll appear as a state in OSM (Kosovo is an example of that - claimed by Serbia but having functioning borders and widespread acceptance as a state).
Also note that wikipedia is not a suitable source for OSM (its licence is incompatible), and even notwithstanding that your linked article does not back up your edit.

Andy Townsend, on behalf of OSM's Data Working Group.

Hello FreedSky,
Please use changeset comments for your edits @FreedSky/history explaining what you're changing and what the source is. Changes to national borders, especially where there are multiple claims, should be clearer so that all relevant parties have a chance to see and comment on the changes made.
A failure to do this may result in you being prevented from updating OpenStreetMap, so please do explain your changes.
Best Regards,
Andy Townsend, on behalf of OSM's Data Working Group.

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
In order for things using OpenStreet data to understand that the thing that you've added is a bus stop you'll want to tell it that it's a bus stop (other than just having the name "Bus Stop").
In the editor that you're using, if you click on the point that you've added and type "bus stop" in the search box at the top left you can click "bus stop" in the list that appears below. That'll add "tags" to it internally so that everything knows that it's a bus stop and, like node/2883418854#map=19/53.97789/-1.05239 , it'll appear as a bus stop on the map.
Best Regards,
Andy

Bonjour,
Meilleures salutations,
Andy

Hello,
Does the deletion of way/505783410/history and the other edits around
osm.org/#map=16/39.8654/43.6789 (you'll need to edit the area; many ways have no tags) look OK to you?
I'm asking because you edited there previously.
The mapper who deleted it was accused of fantasy mapping in the past. Is this the same again or does it really exist?
Best Regards,
Andy
