Hi,

'neighbourhood', spelled proper English, was all this time on the tip of me tongue. Thx

Size matters, this one much better than your globe spanning edits which make it near impossible and exhaustive to see where and what was changed... I'd like to know what happens in 'my' domain ;o)

cheers

BTW, someone 'verified' came in and changed Via to Viale on an address, and left the street + 31 more addresses to lurch on that street. Osmose does not take kindly to even a 'D' versus a 'd' in a name, be it addresses or street parts, but you're surely aware.
ciao

Hi,

Great, except some cities are very explicit in printing on the street sign Leonardo Da Vinci, where another OSM wiki writes that at conflict, the street sign rules. (The wiki has it with 'da' btw), not making a noose case out of this one though. It's like that street that has a 'Via I Maggio' at the corner ;o)

Hi,

3 crossing types, 2 in what looks like Kyev, Ukraine and 1 in san Jose, California. Be aware that if you do that ALL mappers in the bound box area between those 2 locations get to see those edits in their local history listing. Please split your edits and upload them. It's easy with StreetComplete.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

On June 16, 2021 some 12 wise old men at the pitch told me it's bocce played here, but they were not allowed to use it because of some COVID-19 restriction. Also the surface of the pitch is not sand, rather some compacted material making it near as smooth as billards. Oh and tagged it as 'inner' to the 'scrub' area, which I'll shortly will retag as managed forest or wood, those are serious mature pine trees for all of the scrub strip through to where Campo Druda is.

cheers.

Hi,

Grappig, laatst zag ik dat er ook int_name is. In het bijzondere geval werd name:en naar int_name gewijzigd, toch all 566 duizend keer gebruikt volgens taginfo. Staat er hier en de deel relatie niet bij. Leven de unificatie.

:O)

Hi

just spot checking your 'in my face' half the globe covering edit set, (yes we do because we can), and hit on node/7132791355/history . Just curious, why this garden has remained as area and as node i.e shows twice. Should that node duplicating information not have gone?

(just a volunteer from way out of town being forced to see a dozen a day in continental and hemisphere wide change sets while sticking to my 100x100km large mapping zone)

cheers

Hi,
thanks for reply. Yup looked broken from when the 1 way was 180 degrees. Did some driveway additions while there and a disconnect where there's a thick hedge.

Did not know one could choose when to update the editor. Sometimes I'm using a preview link to an editor version that allows easy layer selection on line or node, particularly of interest when working on multipart buildings. Just select and ctrl+| and a sidebar list pops up.

Cheers

BTW A first time editor actually wrote in her/his comment it belonged to a school assignment... We had a group of 25-30 a few months ago creating havoc in town with lots of road node dragging. The error reports exploded. Trying to communicate... absolutely zero comment back. As diagnostics runs slow just this week a 2 month old edit of theirs popped up... a residential area mapped across several others and only caught attention as it popped up in my Osmose/Neis report because I happened to touch a node of the main one. It took time to fix.

There's a lot of this going on... mappers in Germany who then map something in South East Asia in the same set. Someone is leading by bad example I wildly guess.
This edit though is with ID editor 2.19.6 though, not like StreetComplete that somehow does not close edit sets though uploaded and concatenates if the next reported edits if they are of the same type. I'm observing this when surveying on bike and really dislike this behavior of the software. Saving with ID editor is truly committing and closing i.e. a building in Germany can be saved and a building in Japan can be saved and only local mappers will see the respective edits in their mapping history views.

Hi,

Lord knows what 'road detailing' means other than me wasting time to find out what it was, seemingly adding nodes in ways. Please be more 'detailed' in what you actually did. Helps reviewers very much.

TIA

Hi,

why are u still editing with version 2.18.4 when 2.19.6 has been in circulation much longer?

What was this 'outdated' restriction',... only right, only straight, no straight... the deletion makes it hard to review' whether this was superfluous or not, to say, go look along the line of the Pescara river area towards Chieti and you'll find many unsupported by a sign, most presciently the 'No-U-Turn' being sprinkled around like cupcakes.

cheers

ID editor has a colour changing counter right top. When turning Orange certainly time to switch to comments, fix any flagged issuea and save. For self it makes the resolutions manageble. Allows a quicker review then ust start a new one if not done.

Hi,

At least you put a proper comment in your JOSM edit (and with e.g. trans ocean cables hardly avoidable to generate larger boxes). The number of JOSM edits with generic default texts are endless, not to speak of Wheelchair... Never, and I know I can detail while trying that mapping vehicle. Then there are those who do many, high change count edits and just comment 'fixes X' or 'systemization Y'. I'll slap it all in the non-appreciative of how this shows in local edit history listing views, but other thoughts have crossed my mind.
If I cant fit a more detailed description in the comment box, and I'm verbose, periodically annotate what I'm doing in the comment box, I'll stop, close and start a new one but when a single node touches on a 2000 mile bus route, sorry, and then if the route was broken already, get to become co-owner in the Neis/Osmose reports such as today. That's life.
Happy mapping.

hi,

their website says "Contact us: Call 131 888". Could be a phone:tollfree case or similar. Just deleting is no good.

106259702

Hi

Not sure why you say one thing and then include an edit in South-East Asia as well. Accidental?

The phone number format is incorrect. Proper is country code, area code, local phone number i.e if this is in Germany +49 09171 81329
If there is a second phone number dont use phone_1, rather use the semicolon separator and add the number, again in the prescribed format, so in total, delete phone_1 and make the whole
phone=+49 09171 81329; +49 09171 4784
Same applies to the Deutsche Bahn footway.

Hi,

'Bearbeitungen in China'. When making changes in other countries then where they natively speak German, please apply the courtesy to either do the edit comments in the local language or in English so they have at least an indication what you did, but 'bearbeitungen in China' is so meaningless you could as well have made none or make it in Klingon.
2. Why does the rest of the world have to see those edits in their local change history from Murmansk to Beijing with North America and Europe in-between?

Anticipating your future consideration.

The restriction was fine, and now you caused "Restriction doesn't match topology relation/11200132 analyser josm iD edit".
Kindly fix your Mapillary fix.

Hi,

Cycled 155km to go and see this sulfur water tap as an aside. I've reclassed it as a water vending machine, branded 'L'Acqua' and operated by Fara SM, 5 cents a liter for regular. Around the corner is a water fountain, same school building, good for bottle filling and for free.
cheers

PS your change set is visible to every mapper between NW Italy and Lebanon.Unsure why that has happened.
