Hi,

The name Piazza Asterope maybe should have been recorded as old_name. Apparently it's and area and there's even bus stops right outside going by the references Asterope N and Asterope S for Nord e Sud I suspect. Gastronomia, Cinema, Apartment block nearby also use the name so think something needs mapping here.

ciao

Hi,

Funny, when I mapped my imported cycle trace goes absolutely straight at the Via Volta/Nenni crossing. Always knew I could fly low ;O)))

Stay cool

PS Will add source:name tag and yield spot to Nenni>Volta.
If you have bus stops, could you please see which routes visit them. Tag route:ref=nn;nn etc. Long term I'll be mapping more bus route relations. Some of the present ones as documented by e.g. Moovit do not match reality. A classic case presently at Falcone & Borsellini. seen the buses stop there of line 14 but the spot is way outside the bus routing, so much so that Osmose gives an alert. Need to update, whence finding a reliable source (visit the TUA office ;)

cheers

DONT change the inner / outer, your logic goes wildly beyond how OSM works. Simple, an area fully enveloped by a bigger one needs doing this as e.g. a pond inside a forest would then render with water and trees growing in it.

Ambulance parking is SE side. Via Cagliari 1, Villa Raspa with entrance door SW wall.

106995230

Cycled over and round the back, ignorance is bliss, there were 2 of those ta tu, ta tu there hiding in proper emergency posture, with the nose to the exit. It's for when someone at Club La Poeta ends up clogging the arteries critically with too much rich cheeses on the pizza bottom.

Looked yesterday whence descended from Mount Majella, their Spoltore 'office' is in an entirely different location, their ambulance stations too. Whatever your source is, lest there's an address to confirm an existence, not mappable. Did not see one on your node. So happens few meters from that spot is a city_limit begin sign of Villa Raspa (fraz Spoltore), where as most often the street name changes too and it does.

All tags start at 1 and end up in discussion or as the Wiki page of wiki pages says, "... you can map anything within guidelines... " such as tag structure. If it's deemed incorrect or deprecated a wizard alert will show up or gets added to your warning list such as "Deprecated, use instead".
2 million uses of phone is pathetic... I'd have thought it to be in the 10s of millions for the whole 'phone' tag including group. Also, phone:tollfree like the 800 numbers. They do not require country prefix, don't even work from abroad. When I see them with a QA warning "... not expected format' which in Italy is starting with a 0, I'll tag them over.

Documenting the tag, adding a paragraph would be good, 3700 uses per Taginfo i.e. accepted. First use will invite a review if acceptable, which it is.

Montesilvano FS has one e.g.

There are litterally many tens of red cross / white cross, misericordia samples to be found in the area on ambulance stations and parking spots. Just put the name in the history search box and you should be able to hit on a few.

If s/he shows contrition, 1 year gulag ban, else 10 is appropriate (seen happen to at least one other spammer on OSM, poof, gone and remembered not to do business with)

The building integration and relation is complete, now central the mall name appears in big print. Almost all tags from south building transferred to relation. In any 'carto' rendering you'll only see the whole though the parts still stand, no separation walls. Not tagged building levels or heights, internally there will be multiple levels, but only been inside once years ago to remember exactly... just not in my regular routes. Few more bits and bobs, but most all should be near perfect 90 degree angles.

comment addendum: upgraded parking garage tags, connected ways to building and added entrance nodes with level=0 entry point.

The roof layer=1 could have stayed but since I tagged it as building_passage it's not going to cause trouble. Proper is roof at layer 1 and any ways underneath as covered=yes. Made that blob south side round. That building has a huge solar panel assembly on it. I'll map that in a little and make the building 'square'. West and east are off by meters, same with north and south.
Esri beta I prefer, but Esri world imagery is newer. I flip flop to see if buildings were added or landuse has changed.
Map copying and import, no no, I take a photo of the in-house guide map then map by eyeball. Falls under the 'fair use' rule. One village the city tech service head allowed me to take a pic of 2x1.5 mtr w/ all the little vico's. Excellent confirmation of where was what as aerial just does not show them.

BTW Another set of warnings might be coming too for the indoor part... open ends on pathsways which is why most of the times I don't map beyond the entrance tags.

106933420

Paths mapped inside buildings need set up as either corridors or tunnel=building_passage. This avoids the layering need and buildings floating in the air or ways going underground without bridge or tunnel tags. If there are layering tags now except for the entrance roof, they can be deleted. Bigger mall usually have a routing map showing where each shop is with pathways. Good source to draw indoor pathways, if you fancy to do so ;o)

Oh and everything does seem to be off, buildings inclusive. Does not really matter to me though... close enough.

"Given that this changeset was created with StreetComplete" YES it merges edits by type in edit sets... lit, pavements, flush kerb etc etc over a longer time period. When on the road cycling and surveying I make it a point of hitting the upload/report button in hopes to keep the boxes small, but still it happens time and distance apart, BUT StreetComplete is rather clear: Only map where you are, while surveying. Every day I see dozens of these long distances boxes and it just boggles the mind why this mapping 10000 miles apart. The history list clutter in my local view is endless.

Hi,

Reversing only adds another big box. Though setting SC to auto report, i hit report before every locations change, it sometimes keeps edit sets open for identical types i.e. Crossing flush curb at A and same at B lands in 1 set if within a certain time frame. I just never use it beyond where I am to avoid the issue.

Hi

Under progetto Pendolo another 1 million Euro is spend to convert Via Pantini and dog park and bush strip along Riserva Dannunziana into something. Everything flattened parkside except few tall, thick old trees and a draft way in white and blue has been spray painted winding around those trees, suggesting it is to become an integration of 1 lane road for residenti, and foot/cyceway. Suspect it will connect to Viale Pineta as well across Bonifica

Pendolo Rotatoria 2, central traffic islands are nearing completion, few more weeks, before Ferragosto maybe that the roundabout opens at Tortora side but Pedolo itself I doubt, at Sparto side it opened before any 'traffic calming' was even started, half of that now done.

FYI and TTYL.

What I think is minimal is, that those cross-border comments are made in English or the language of the country where the edit is made, and I fully agree, like here locally some editors have countless multi change CS to their name and all they write is fix A fix B fix C or sistemazione di... meaningless. What they've changed can only be found out by comparing history. This set touches on an area from Alaska to Angola, latter they could understand Portuguese, not French,
My 2 Euro cents.
