Hi,

Fatto.

And yes, one of my early works on OSM (did about 4 changes in the 6 years before that :-))). Per the convention, moved all the traffic_sign nodes off the road in that bridge/rotonda area, tagged way with overtaking=no (the general) there also being an overtaking:hgv=no. Of course the motor_vehicle=no is gone (fortunately just on the sign and not on the road).
Anyway, added destinations and directions while there, the project I'm on the last few weeks. Your in-car router will than show the destinations on the display too. (Map Factor Navigator does).

Hi and thanks for letting the world know. While you're at it, think you might want to look at tower:type=Cellular_tower too.

hi,

Are you sure the ramp has turned into steps? If it's steps, than it would be very flat steps. BTW, see the railing tag is missing as well, in glass, on a bridgy steel structure.

hi

Curious to see JFK and Colombo tagged IT:urban (it's too idiotic to believe) went to see my go pro imagery... not a speed sign nowhere so I stand corrected on that. BUT per corner street name signs the Viale JFK is named Lungomare JFK and Viale Cristoforo Colombo is Via. Tagged on Lit, asphalt and obligatory use of cycle/foot sidepath (it's an unsafe cycleway, too close to house and garden walls and too narrow for any car to drive 50 there. But that's just me).

OK, unwittingly me bad. I did some edits in Halifax, Canada via tag editor, I saved them (I'm sure), and wheeled back home and added a disused railtag. How they got loaded in one set is a riddle to me, but have noticed that in the stats the tag editor change counts show fewer. They're all good though.
Apologies for this mishap.

@ rskedgell. That's the advantage of letting the whole of Europe. ME and northern Africa know about one's advertisement. People will see the errors in the ad too ;o).

Hi there

it's 'motor_vehicle=no' singular not 'motor_vehicles=no' but either way it has created an 'island car' situation for ways east and south of that section (from the Gempelkapelle.), where motor vehicles seemingly are allowed. Nobody noticed because since 7 years ago access=motor_vehicles=no never took effect. Think the control has to be reviwed to determine what the downway permissions should be.

Hi

How I got here: Because I corrected a typo of suface to surface, 7 times.

The problem: The bollards you introduced have made the ways behind them unreachable for vehicles creating 'island all' and island car' issues on the former hospital way.

Solution. Tag all ways after the bollards with vehicle=no. Are these bollards type = fixed or movable even rising? Latter may resolve the routing issue.

Please let me know. There is no google streetview imagery of the area to long distance view the physical situation from the ground.

Hi,

Kindly check your edits at Porto Nuova FS as Osmose reports 4 "Inconsistent tagging of construction" pins in the affected rail area of your 'improved road mapping'.

NB, I left map notes on the station but it was left untouched after the rail relocation work. If your edits resolve the matter please comment and close the pinned note (The construction north of the river bank actually continue).

Can you expand a bit more on your whirlwind copy copy copy comment 'improved road mapping'. Is it lay precision, is it straightening, is it pavement... Tell people more than just those standard 3 words for those who get to see your edits in their local history while you do your nationwide contributions. The comment box allows about 250 characters.
TIA

Thank you for sharing your sidewalk and other edit reports with half a continent of mappers. Kindly set your StreetComplete to auto report your changes. This way your uploads don't force themselves into the history list of everyone from Geneva to Damascus.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi

There was also an alert on the population we size. I checken your number of 201k is correct per 2019. OSM thinks its 204420 but that's a 2017 number.
Cheers, e di niente. 😁

I don't want to know why you do 2 small edits, one in Metzinger, Germany and one in Sydney, Australia in a single change set, but it's darned not funny to see multiple of these a day, not only by you, covering half the planet. Please don't. Split your changes up and save them individually.
TIA

Hello,
Sorry, my mistake, could originally not find msal 8900 in the 'dispensing' table assuming then it was a parafarmacia. I'll change it back. Had already added the ref:vatin, healthcare=pharmacy (don't ask, it's part of the upgrade tag routine) as well and the source reference, so instead of 9 tags, 16 already. Usually I also add opening hours and website link for the active hours including turno, phone nr inclusive with intl prefix, OSM must.:O)
cheers

Hi, there's a problem with your change set "source:ref without ref", in other words you provided a source:ref but did not enter a ref code. (I only got involved because you made a typo I corrected).
cheers

Hi,

Today saw a new one, fenced off with 2 parking hoops, WIP, PLUS a roof in the corner of my eye while racing by on Via Santuario where the Thursday Mercato Scoperto is held. Don't know about this one on Pz Colonna but when adding I need to remember if covered=yes or no.and go back to the first one as that has a roof too in the picture I took.

Hi there Brian
Hope i did not cause some cardiac event sending you those issue links.
May i ask why you use the residential living_street tag on the walking areas instead of pedestrian? It would not resolve any duplicatie edge issue but at least the label would be as intended in the park and you'd still have to map paths across to each event entrance as areas are simply non-routable filler to navigation software.

hmmm, I could not immediately point you to the reference but one sentence said that building:part exits mainly for 3D renderers. With both it shows 'correct' in 2D and 3D.
Tagging for the renderer we do all the time... take 20 parking_spaces and then map an parking area around it. Looks nice all these little square spaces

The gospel is to not split lanes unless there is a physical separation, yet a zillion junctions and roundabouts in Italy have been in the standard layout. Painted double separation line not allowed to cross is not physical, painted traffic islands are not 'physical' either, yet it's treated diametrically opposed. Sounds familiar? Motorway exits have full physicals separation in 20+ meter stretches at the tollgates, but don't you dare, splitting them in cash, debit, credit card and telepass lanes regardless of the concrete slabs and toll booths and gantries.
I'm thoroughly unimpressed.

There hundreds upon hundreds of samples around with both. Then it has to be buildingxyz=* and in relation tagged as =part or roof or buildingpart, whatever, i prefer latter. Suggest you make a screenshot of the 2 buildings now and revisit in a few weeks when a full render cycle has completed if it still renders the same in standard OSM. Seen samples where just the outline remains with biulding:part=yes. Right now not even the 'church' color is showing, just the regular building hue.
cheers

Via Giardiagrele and the east way of Pz Garibaldi are not routed as part of the SS81 that I can see.
