Diese Änderung wurde nicht umgesetzt wie beabsichtigt, das Wohngebiet Sulzbach-West wurde in ein Gebäude mit Hausnummer geändert. Am besten immer das Ergebnis auf openstreetmap.org prüfen, auch ein Kommentar im changeset ist hilfreich. Ich habe die Änderung rückgängig gemacht, siehe auch note/361718

Hab vorhin diese Änderung bemerkt und bin auch zufällig noch dort hingekommen. Eine Zufahrt bleibt die Straße, durch die Änderung in einen Fußweg wurden auch Fahrräder nicht mehr hier entlang geleitet. Wurdest du mit dem Auto dort hindurch geführt? Ich habe den Weg wieder geändert und zusätzlich ein explizites motor_vehicle=no an die Barriere am Ende des Wegs angebracht.

Eine versteckte Abkürzung (Treppe +Pfad) nahe der Brücke wurde in diesem Änderungssatz gelöscht, warst du wirklich vor Ort? Ich habe mich heute vergewissert, dass sie immer noch existiert und benutzbar ist und sie wiederhergestellt. Siehe z.B. Treppe: way/98811397/history#map=19/49.06845/8.76534

In diesem Änderungssatz wurde eine Andachtsstätte angelegt, existiert die wirklich? Sieht auf aktuellen Luftbildern nicht danach aus, evtl. war die Kirche auf der anderen Seite gemeint.

With "for the renderer" I didn't necessarily say it was mapped "wrongly for the renderer", but that it was not mapped "for the router", so you may be right that it was mapped to express reality (statement from personal message).
But at least in the current state of various routing software an area normally is not routable arbitrarily, but only at the edges, and I don't think this will change soon. So to be routable there should be ways on top of a pedestrian area. There is already an extra way for routing in the middle of these two parks

According to the Wiki, I don't think that "pedestrian" is the right tagging value at all, at least not for the inner ways, which I have mapped as "footway" on top. I don't want to change mapping behaviour in Athen, so maybe footway was the wrong choice for the routable ways. I have already seen the rendered map and was not happy with the look.

I also don't think mapping the (inner) ways as an area is correct tagging, "area=yes" is used for bigger places, not for narrow ways of only a few meters. For routing, even if routing software would be able to route areas correctly, I don't see my footways as restricting because the affecting ways are too narrow. For rendering there is a different solution to "area=yes" (which would make tags like oneway=yes impossible btw), see osm.wiki/Proposed_features/area:highway similar to the same problem for rivers: waterway=riverbank

Suggestion: I switch the tagging of the ways added by me from "footway" to "pedestrian". OK?
