Thanks for the reply. Could you give some examples of these apps and how they use the foot tag data? Because surely the default position on foot access on highway=footway is yes - otherwise it wouldn't be much of a footway!

Hi, not sure if you are aware, but there is an OSMUK Cadastral Parcels layer which can be turned on to help you align background layers to the blue lines - in this area the offset is small but in other places Bing needs to be adjusted so map data isn't out of alignment. :)

Hi, not sure why you changed these mini roundabouts but this has been reverted.

Well for now the one thing we cannot do is remove the segment entirely leaving no connection to Leith Walk, so I've added it back but as a footway without one of the kerbs.
