Разглеждайки по-стари мои "следи", попаднах на едно пътуване включващо и минаване през Пловдив. Така че реших да вхърля поглед как са "майните". Много зле. Много зле. Но все от някъде трябва да се почне. Така че започнах и добавих няколко улици из Пловдив, като и започнах наименоването им.
В края на следата имаше един селски път свързваш селата Шейново, Хаджидимитрово и Крън (Казанлъшка околония). За съжаление - отново не зная номенклатурата на този път.

Letzte Woche wurde eine Wanderung um den Poehlberg von mir geloggt. Heute als Track hochgeladen, Feinarbeit fehlt noch.

Today, I added a non-mapped quarter of Aix-En-Provence into the OSM datas. I think I have forgotten a few things, so I will probably return there a next time. I noticed by comparing google's map that there were a few errors on "official and proprietary" datas by the way.

About Aix, a mapper is willing to organize a mapping-party for the end of this month. Who wants to attend it around here ? Of course I'll be in, but for the moment we are only 2 :-)

Добавих няколко улички около пазара в Младост 1. Същота така - започнах и в с.Лозен с няколко улици.

Добавих едното плано на Е85 в частта от с.Ягода до Стара Загора. Остава и другото да се добави. Съответно между другото добавих и едва две улици в Казанлък и с.Крън.

Подобрих малко пътя от Габрово към Узана (добавих нов участък).

I've been trying to incorporate some modest mapping into my recent jogging efforts. Carrying the GPS and sometimes a notebook and pencil is pretty clumsy. The GPS on its own is OK in my hand, but it leaves me reliant on my memory for names. This is like a floppy disk that's been left in a car glovebox. I guess I look like a dweeb, too, but that's also the situation without it. I do get nice performance stats from the GPS unit.

I didn't get lost, but I did wonder about the minds of people who would name a street Wonderlost Outlook. Surely they mean Wanderlust? $SEARCH_ENGINE on that gives me nothing that looks significant. I can only surmise either drugs, stupidity, xenophobia, or a person's strangely mis-Anglicised name.

Perhaps I am being unfair and exhibiting shaded friendship.

Using a Garmin Edge 305 to map the area around Voelklip and Hermanus, Western Cape South Africa.

Most cycle and walking paths are done but I need to add detail, and map the Fernkloof area.

Streets are the next project: Have started with one or two, but need a better GPS trace to do this properly.

Ganz Deutschland ist nun mit Version 2.0 BETA gerechnet und veröffentlicht.

Es gibt nun also STRAßENVERZEICHNISSE VON GANZ DEUTSCHLAND.

Mit der automatischen Erkennung der Größe der Orte habe ich so meine Probleme, aber das könnt ihr in den Karten ja sehen. Die Quote ist schon gut, könnte aber besser sein.
Also tragt für eure Orte Wege ein, die den Ort umschließen und korrekt getaggt sind. Siehe die Wiki-Seite.
Die Straßenliste habe ich anhand eines bekannten Ortes verbessert. Da manche Leute auch unclassified und service (mit eigenem Namen) innerhalb der Orte verwenden, musste ich Anpassungen vornehmen.

Das Programm hat mittlerweile fats 1500 Zeilen (plus Module). Also wenn ihr einen Fehler findet: her damit...

Започнах да въвеждам и пътната мрежа на някои казанлъшки села. По-специално от една разходка из с.Крън, както и до с.Ясеново. Добавена е пощата, както и има малки подобрения на уличната мрежа на Казанлък

There is a lot of blank space around my city of Dundee, and many footpaths that need to be added. OSM has already got me riding down roads for the only reason that they are not yet on the map! I hope to fill most of the roads to the North and West in over the next few months - It will transfer the weight from me to the map!

I just discovered OSM recently, and I must say I'm impressed by the amount and quality of the data, and the ease of use and performance of the Slippy map.
I checked out some areas I'm familiar with, and was impressed with how up-to-date the maps are. OSM easily leaves the commercial maps in its dust on this front.
I also noticed some minor inaccuracies in West End, so I tested out Potlach. The end of Vulture Street had been renamed to Pigeon Street a couple of edits ago, I presume by someone with an unusual sense of humour. I restored it to its rightful name, and was fortunate enough to do it the day before the weekly update, so I got to see my correction on the Slippy map the next day.
This encouraged me, so I added some missing street names, and corrected and intersection that was shown as two disjoint streets. I'm a bit wary of messing up someone else's good work, so I only made the changes after driving by to refresh my memory and check that there weren't any recent roadworks changing the lay of the land.
There are more missing street names in West End that I plan to add. I'll also give JOSM a test drive, and see about installing my GPS software for uploading traces. There's so much to do, and so little time! :) But it's encouraging to be able to so easily add to a project of this magnitude.

gibt es eigentlich irgendwo im Netz einen Idiotensichere Anleitung, wie man OSM Daten auf ein Garmin GPS überträgt? Ich habe ein paar Seiten gefunden, wo man ohne Sendmaps und Co die Karten direkt laden kann, hat auch funtioniert, Nachtei war aber meist, daß die Karten nicht sonderlich up to date sind. Mein Problem ist, daß ich bei Vorschriften z. B. hier von Holger Issel meist irgendwann einen Fehler gemeldet bekomme und dann Ende im Gelände ist. Aktuelle habe ich versucht, die Vorschrift auf einem MTB Forum zu nehmen:

Dabei habe ich mehtode 2 verwendet. Zuerst habe ich mir auf der Computerteddy Seite die deutschland.tgz runtergeladen, die dann entpackt, dann versucht, zu Testzwecken eine .img daei aufs Garmin zu laden. Habe auf dem Garmin auch eine Datei "Garmin" angelegt. Beim Versuch des Hochladens wurde mir dann folgender Fehler angezeigt:

Hat einer eine Ahnung was ich falsch gemacht habe? Ideal wäre für mich, da ich demnächst in Urlaub fahre, wenn ich von verschiedenen Gebieten mir die Kacheln hochladen könnte, (neuseeland, Dubai und West Australien. Die Weltkarte ist ja schon zu fett, um sie aufs Vista mit 2 GB speicher zu laden. Wenns noch in Maps funktionieren würde, wäre es noch besser, aber ich will ja nicht zu viel verlangen.

Vielleicht kennt ja eine eine Idiotensichere Vorschrift oder kann mir ein paar Tipps geben. Danke und Gruß

Comecei a por 2 vias nas estradas para o lado do Lumiar e telheiras, dei um geito ao Campo grande porque estava bem confuso.
