In osm.org/user_blocks/20010 you were told to “Please stop adding name:de to anything; we don’t trust your judgement on this any more.”

In https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/whats-everyones-problem-with-name-de/142456/ there was a discussion regarding the name ‘Memel’ or ‘Klaipeda’. The concensus in this discussion was clearly in favour towards using ‘Klaipeda’ as the main name. Despite this, you have since reverted this name in osm.org/changeset/180578808.

Forum discussions on OpenStreetMap serve to create consensus, to determine how things should be mapped. Once a consensus exists, purposely and knowingly going against this consensus is generally not accepted. In this case you were also fully aware of the discussion as you have participated in it yourself.

Given your previous block, how aggresively you are trying to push german names on places, and your disregard for the community consensus, I am issuing you another block.

This is a zero-hour block, you are free to resume editing after reading it, but from now on, please refrain from editing any more German names outside of Germany. For avoidance of doubt, this includes old_name:de, alt_name:de and name:de. Any future blocks will likely be significantly longer.
