Hello Bezetha,

In the past days you have been deleting bike trails. These trails are a result of mapping efforts by others.

What is the reason of these deletions?

Please stop deleting and respond to the comments asking for clarifications in these two pages:

Please note that OSM best practices request the use of meaningful changeset descriptions.

The deleted bike trail was deliberately built beside the gravel road because that road is hard for bikers.
It can be seen clearly in the GPS traces downloadable in JOSM.

The user also created a disconnected several other ways, including
way/314369378
way/314369965
and
way/246990640

way/1383299292/history mapped a round bunker.

It was deleted and replaced by a square building.
way/1488853684

One result of not having a discussion on the import is that the new elements have improper tagging:

1. Nodes of "building=yes" ways are tagged with "building=yes" rather than have no tags.
For example,
node/13645971076/history/1

2. "building=yes" ways have junk tags such as "FID_1", "Shape_Area", and "Shape_Leng".
For example, way/1488858672/history/1

Because of the importance of keeping the OSM data free, it's required that information imported from other sources is provided with a compatible license.

Could you please share the data source and the license or permission you received to use it?

Massive edits and data imports to OSM also require advance notice and community approval.

המונח "אחוזה" משמש בד"כ לתיאור של מבנה ושל השטחים המקיפים אותו - גנים, מבני עזר, ובאירופה אפילו יערות.

התחום שמופה כאן חופף, להבנתי, לשחזור שנעשה למבנה - ה"ארמון" כפי שנכתב בשילוט במקום.

הנטייה שלי היא להשאיר רק את המיפוי של השטח, ולאחד את התיוג של שני האלמנטים תחת השם "ארמון הרודיאני"

בעריכה זו הוספת אחוזה הרודיאנית והזזת לתוכה ארמון הרודיאני שכבר היה קיים.

האם יש מקום לכפילות שכזו?
ככל שאני רואה, תחומי האחוזה חופפים את תחום הארמון.

IMHO, there are two issues here:

1. Two relations exist for the same park
2. What are the proper boundaries of the park

I would like to see the first issue resolved because currently, the "One feature, one OSM element" guideline is not met.

As for the second issue, perhaps you could reach-out to your contact at African Parks, and ask him to look at the differences between the definitions of the two boundaries, as can be seen in this link:

In this edit you have marked this section of a disused rail as electrified=rail. It looks a bit strange.

Also, as far as I can tell, the railroad electrification in Israel is using the electrified=contact_line method.

Hello P-E_LRX,

There seem to be two versions of the Akagera National Park:
1. relation/20127015, created about a month ago in this changeset.
2. relation/1708935, created about 14 years ago.

About 4 months ago, in changeset/173585190, the geometry of the older relation was broken. That is probably the reason you have unknowingly created the newer relation.

After some discussion with the other mapper, I have restored the geometry of the older relation in changeset/179241112

Would it be OK with you if I remove the duplication by reverting this changeset?
