| 144267442 | Hi Chris, thanks for contributing to OSM! Please be sure you're not adding info from Google Maps, because the GM's license is not compatible with OSM (you can read more here osm.wiki/Google) |

| 144320212 | Thanks, thi is based on the WV GIS clearinghouse's boundary info, but it looks like JOSM inadvertently overwrote my source comment saying that. |
|
| 143801111 | FYI, it looks like Joseph RP deleted it in changeset/143872280

| 143801111 | Hey, there's a node for Kingstowne already here: node/3671039765 . Is there a reason you added a second? |
|
| 143796274 | Hi, what is the source for this change? And why would only this stretch be 70mph? |

| 139788239 | Thanks, feel free to remove them if they don't exist! |
|
| 139938139 | Thanks, the couple overlapping buildings have been removed here: changeset/143332111. |

| 142446275 | Hi evkalina, what was the purpose of this changeset? It appears you've deleted objects and created nearly identical ones in the same place, with geometries that are worse-aligned to the imagery. Thanks! |
|
| 141538064 | Hey Mike, thanks for contributing! Pro tip for these square-shaped objects: you can press Q when it's selected in the iD editor you used to automatically "square" the corners of each shape. |

| 66841167 | C'mon man, at this point it's almost not worth doing! |
|
| 138795463 | Potomac Yard-VT should be the official_name if not the name, it's definitely not an unofficial name. |
|
| 138425674 | See Alternative methods here: building=terrace, building=house and house=terraced is the preferred tagging scheme when the units are broken out individually |

| 137665124 | Hey, correct me if I'm wrong, but your business doesn't occupy this whole building, which is the Thornton apartment complex. Furthermore, OSM generally doesn't capture businesses that don't follow the verifiability criteria, which you can think of as having a storefront or streetside signage. From clicking through the website I'm a little skeptical either of those standards are met but would be happy to be proven wrong. I which case we would add a single node for the business. Thanks! |

| 137563520 | I don't think I agree that this is primarily a pastry shop that happens to sell coffee, despite the name. Starbucks also sells a couple pastries and sandwiches but is not a pastry or sandwich shop. It's mostly semantics, so I don't feel that strongly, but I tend to think people going to Mah Ze Dahr would be more confused when they arrived if they were expecting a pastry shop than if they were expecting a cafe. |

| 134115361 | Hi Ranger, I can only speak for the buildings you added in Arlington, VA in this changeset, but neither of them should be on the map. One of them clearly duplicates an existing OSM building, and the other has been demolished since the imagery was captured. Please use a little more caution when using Rapid/Microsoft building footprints please! |

| 134121899 | Hey Joseph, I'm confused why/how this stretch of Columbia Pike has reappeared (I removed it in changeset/133972535, maybe there was an edit conflict given how closely in time we edited). There is no trace of it on the ground currently, and when it's eventually rebuilt from scratch in the coming years, my understanding is it will head straight to the underpass of VA 27, rather than this junction with South Joyce. | 133437268 | Ok, acknowledging this is more of an art than a science and that you have more experience with highway tagging in Virginia than me, I guess my confusion comes partially from wondering why every GWMP section north of the DCA interchange is classified as motorway, and yet this section was primary. The physical characteristics of those sections are identical to this one, and there is no population center on the north end and I would argue of equal "importance." Also confused how a motorway can transition directly into a primary road with no discernible physical difference or having passed a population center of importance. The GWMP strikes me as comparable to the Suitland Parkway across the Potomac in almost every way, which is tagged as trunk throughout. Anyway, I don't feel all that strongly but happy to discuss more. |
