Questo mi sembra il tagging più corretto, se qualcuno vuole mostrare il nome di questo luogo sulla mappa il nodo c'è ancora, basta configurare il proprio stile di rendering per includere i place=municipality (che tra parentesi sono documentati sulla wiki di OpenStreetMap[1] e quindi non mi sono inventato).

Creano problemi con il tag default_language dei paesi in Osmose e sono inutili.
Nessun data consumer o persona ha bisogno della traduzione di questa cosa: Flixbus 476: Koblenz, Hbf. => Milan, Lampugnano in italiano o in tedesco (se si tratta di mettere il nome cinese quello può essere utile oltre a non creare intoppi con Osmose in quanto nessuno dei paesi interessati ha il cinese come lingua ufficiale)

L'ho fatto perché secondo me era sbagliata l'interpretazione che è stata fatta dei cartelli. La mia idea è che Rontagnano indichi semplicemente la frazione e non faccia parte del nome della via, come suggerito da te sul gruppo Telegram.
Secondo me ha più senso così, poi magari mi sbaglio.

Per risolvere i dubbi che potrebbero sorgere scrivo qui che:
-Lo stradario l'ho richiesto all'ufficio Anagrafe del comune, quindi non lo posso mettere come fonte perché non è hostato su internet (se qualcuno volesse visionarlo mi può contattare)
-Come indicato nel commento sembra che i nomi ufficiali siano rimasti indietro di qualche anno, e la cartellonistica attuale mostra in molti casi il DUG "via" rispetto a "strada/strada comunale"
-Risulta anche che i nomi ufficiali delle vie siano accompagnati dal nome della frazione, cosa che rende ancora meno sensato il fatto di mettere i nomi ufficiali come nomi semplici

This changeset needs a serious review, just a few minutes after publishing it I had gone* on revert.osmz.ru website to revert it, because I noted that I inavertedly drifted many lines, so I thought it was a closed issue, but now I see that that revert changeset was never published.
Has anybody already noted and resolved the problem?

I was talking about the relation. If there was a language on the node and another on the relation is worse. I fixed these inconsistencies, you say that the node had a history of changing back and forth between latin and italian, if we have both there is no longer reason to change the name.

But this is not an argument since previously the name was latin only. I added italian because also italian is official language there.

I changed name to including the latin and italian name because this nation has these languages as official languages, as it is customary in nations or territories with more than one official language.
I deleted the city_block because it didn't make sense, as there is already this relation relation/11989610 that describes the same thing; the tags from the node can be added to the relation.
My reasoning in changing Vatican City to city is this:
1. to follow the wiki page description of city (Use the place=city tag to identify the largest settlement or settlements within a territory)
2. It is a CITY-state (this is a rather weak argument, I admit)
3. It has city in the name
If these points are not valid I suggest tagging it as a village instead of a town, because it hasn't the number of inhabitants of a town.
The options in my opinion are these: tagging it as city because it's a national capital after all, or tagging it as a village because it has a low number of residents.
