the trail can be “activated” as part of the amateur radio activity program Parks on the Air.
Adding the reference to the tail allows it to be queried by maps and tools looking for the attribute.

Kannst du mir Hinweise geben wie man die Sub-Relationen mit abfragen kann?

Das hatte ich zuerst probiert, es wurde aber bei direkten overpass queries und bei https://potamap.ea7klk.es/ nicht angezeigt. Vielleicht war aber nur die query falsch.
