How comes you think this is an Eleport charging station? Shouldn't this be a Tesla supercharger station? Or is the path behind somethinge else and the supercharger is on the northern entrance? It looks like it may has been replaced?

That charging station looks a little weird. Brand "Tesla 120v". Any chance to fix it?

It's could be a "Tesla Destination Charger", check it in iD.

zahlt man da wirklich 45 euro pro ladevorgang, unabhängig vom auto?? :-D

Ich habe gerade all deine gemappten Parkplätze in Dietikon gesehen, super arbeit! 💪

Maybe they should be related in OSM, would make it more clear.

As much as I remember yes. The below one is an older 150kw one and a new faster 250kw has been added. In Tesla terms they seem to be the "same". they don't seem to have a logic on when they "split" and when not.

I think it was that picture

I opened a pandora box with Supercharger naming with huge discussion. 99% of superchargers don't have a name on site. In the tesla community they are called by the location, so York Supercharger. This used to work well, but we have more and more cities with multiple, hence that naming breaks softly. (this seems to be the second in york). Tesla themselves started to acknowledge this and would call many hyperlocal such as Mc Donalds Supercharger, but that made the users angry too, and confused. Now it's that mix with major focus on city, such as York, but additional sub information, such as that outlet.
Further, some in OSM say it should be "Tesla Supercharger" only. Norway they say Tesla Location Supercharger. In Austria they forbid all names since they are seldom written onsite, so name= is illegal for most chargers.

iD allows for "[anything] Supercharger" and suggests "Tesla Supercharger".

Further, the wiki used to suggested "*Official Name* Supercharger" for 6 years.
osm.wiki/w/index.php?title=Tag:amenity%3Dcharging_station/Tesla_Motors&oldid=2841594
but that has been removed since.

The Tesla website calls this one "york", which translated to "york supercharger" in OSM.

So for me, if you want to change the name I set to anything else, feel free, I won't mind. I just want the right location and otherwise sane tags so people can find that place to charge their car without relying on one of the 1000 charging apps :-)

🙏 thank you, ever parking update is valueable :-)

`voltage=250_kw`

Das wäre doch eher etwas richtung dem hier? `output=250 kW`
Weisst du was die korrekte Voltage ist?
Normal ist glaube ich 400

Should be done.

I'm interested, how do you find all these issues? There are many charging attributes tagged very weirdly since it was not standardized for a while. Do you just go to taginfo, or just overpass turbo?

180581519

Yes. Sorry, it's easter time here :-)
A) was my mistake
B) need to check that, but looks like 250 (kw), so wrong field
C) I will not touch that tag and break compatibility since maps may rely on them. (At least for a while)

There are more and more in around :-)

Hi, maybe you can help me. Should superchargers be in english names in japan? Or is there a "correct" translation?

167956676

Btw, there was even a guy who also did an import in some areas around the same time, was even more funny to see.

I am fixing tons of duplicates right now. Please next time look for destination chargers in proximity. it's common issue that people tag superchargers as destination chargers. in the past, iD even suggest a fix that made superchargers to destination chargers. :-(

otherwise lovely detailed tags :-)
