OK. I removed the colour=black from the route_master then.

Is this cafe really in the road? Please move it to the correct building.

For the monorail this change raises a flag on Subway Preprocessor (https://mapgen-fi-1.comaps.app/subway/validator/usa.html) because you forgot to update the color on the route_master as well. Or maybe colour=* should be removed from the route_master entirely? relation/3237715

Are these from the GTFS feeds?

186471381

The route_master relation/21154501/history/1 that you created breaks the Miami PT network by placing a couple route relations into a second route_master. Specifically, now relation/17022645 and its counterpart relation/17022644 are members of both the new route_master you created and their existing route_master (relation/10602946).

Please resolve the PT network issues you have created. I don't know the situation on the ground, but unless you have good reason for it I will delete this new route_master.

This restaurant is open until 9 AM, for 22 hours of the day? Or did you mean 9PM a.k.a. 21:00?

186644157

Okay, maybe it was a typo in this instance, good reasoning. But do you think that particular autocorrection should/can be removed from the tool? Or, is there an easy way to search for other people who mistakenly applied the autocorrect in this scenario?

138906285

do you know what you meant by opening_hours=yes on node/2677291621/history/8? Typo?

186545362

Meaning it does not exist on the ground? Or that you expect WSDOT to remove it soon? If it's not there, go ahead and delete that segment of road.

Thanks!

oopsie: tag pasting mistake on opening_hours. Fixed!

186634717

Hello, thanks for the contribution!

FYI, the opening_hours=* tag specification requires that "comments" be wrapped in quotes. So instead of Sa-Su By appointment, it should be Sa-Su "by appointment" -- this makes it more machine-readable so that the data can be processed correctly by data consumers. I fixed the syntax of this one.

Thanks again, and happy mapping!

Hello @misty870808!

I have repeatedly requested your attention with a question at changeset/185881839, but you have not made any acknowledgement of my messages. Please respond here, or at any of my other comments left on your changesets, or send me a private message via osm.org/messages/new/pwbriggs, or contact support@openstreetmap.org for technical assistance.

Thanks for the contribution and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Feel free to reach out any time if you have questions.

Thanks. It sounds like the access aisles still exist through the parking lot, then? If that's the case, they should just get an access=private but not be deleted from the map-- otherwise other mappers will see the parking lot in aerial imagery and add them back.

Is there a gate or fence around this parking lot?

These should not be deleted unless there are no cameras at all at these locations. You mentioned that these are not Flock cameras: does that mean these are simply traditional (non-ALPR) cameras?

Thanks!

Hello!

I think that this changeset uses the website=* tag incorrectly. From the English wiki:

>Choose specific URLs over homepages. For example, use website=https://www.islandbuses.info/services/SVCT/8 instead of website=https://www.islandbuses.info. Consider brand:website=*, network:website=*, or operator:website=* if you want to store a URL for those.

My understanding is that a website=* tag should be the webpage of the particular branch or location of each building.

166105858

Do all these branches really have the same opening_hours nationwide?

186644157

Hey confusedbuffalo! Thanks for the tool.

I think that you were incorrect on node/11253618657/history/4 and probably many others. I am not from anywhere near Poland nor do I know or speak Polish, but I believe that So stands for Sobota -- Saturday. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sobota#Polish // https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_the_days_of_the_week#:~:text=Polish

Let me know what you think.

Cross-referencing https://osmus.slack.com/archives/CCJ2P6KCH/p1785296209912459 (on https://slack.openstreetmap.us/) where several community members suspect that these changes may be the output of a generative AI tool.

Hello! I noticed some strange things about this changeset and was curious about what happened here.

Some tags you added opening_hours=* and phone=* use non-breaking hyphens instead of plain hyphens. Also, there seem to be some kind of comments accidentally pasted in from somewhere, like "contact:email=info@onestopservicesak.com # (if known—otherwise omit or use generic form)" and "opening_hours=24/7 # or “open 24/7 for emergencies” if partial hours."

Are you pasting these values in from somewhere? Are these tags the output of some kind of AI chat, or a documentation website?

Thanks,
PB
