Auf der Website vom Museum (https://www.rehmann-museum.ch) ist als Anschrift "Schimelrych 12" angegeben, wie lösen wir das am besten? Mit "Im Bifang" für das Gebäude und dann eine eigene Node für das Museum, welches dann addr:street=Schimelrych plus 14.1 in addr:housenumber?

| 169247466 | Hallo Makeena Zwei Fragen zum amenity=drinking_water bei node/4581892204: 1. Du hast da aus dog=yes ein dog=no gemacht, auf welcher Basis taggst Du das? Der Brunnen hat an der Seite eine Wassertränke, die von Hunden genutzt werden kann. Es ist kein sehr weit verbreitetes tag, aber Katja Hottingen hatte das in changeset changeset/83151071 hinzugefügt, sie hat generell sehr viel für das Brunnen-Mappping in und um Zürich getan (und hatte auch mal eine Website, wo sie die Brunnen gerendert hat). Ich finde das tag nützlich und sie sind on the ground verifizierbar. 2. Der Brunnen hatte bottle=yes, Du hast das entfernt. Ich hab da vorhin eine Flasche aufgefüllt und es ging. Ich verstehe, dass man beim ersten Blick auf den Brunnen denken kann, dort eine Flasche zu füllen sie schwierig bis unmögich, das wäre aber dann aber bottle=no. Mit welcher Absicht hast Du das Tag komplett entfernt? Beste Grüsse und happy mapping,

Neu hat die node jetzt
Es gibt aber ein Problem mit dem "; open" da drin. Der Validator unter https://openingh.openstreetmap.de/evaluation_tool/?EXP= schreibt dazu "Facility is always open", weil bei der Regel keine Tage oder Stunden angegeben sind. Wenn man nur das "; open" rausnimmt, stimmen die Öffnungszeiten und der Validator zeigt dann auch korrekt an, ob die Bar aktuell geöffnet ist. Die Info im Kommentar der opening_hours ist ja bereits im description-Tag drin, man könnte sie also bei opening_hours IMHO auch weglassen. Beste Grüsse und happy mapping,

Wenn Pingpong und Barbetrieb unterschiedliche Zeiten hätten, liesse sich das auch gut abbilden, z.B. (fiktive Zeiten)
Man könnte auch bei jeder Zeitspanne noch "when rented" hinzufügen, jeweils mit Anführungszeichen. Und klar gibt es bei Osmose false positives, das hier ist keiner davon. Wenn man nur einen Kommentar also Öffnungszeiten angeben möchte, muss der gemäss Syntax in Anführungzeichen stehen, also

Und z.B. unter dieser Website https://openingh.openstreetmap.de/ oder auch in OsmAnd mit dem Filter "jetzt geöffnet", sind OSM-Daten besser nutzbar, wenn das Tag opening_hours mit gültiger Syntax befüllt ist, drum versuch ich da manchmal kleine Sachen zu anzupassen, gelegentlich brauche ich da zwei Durchgänge, bis es mit der Syntax stimmt. :) Beste Grüsse und happy mapping,

In this changeset, you marked parts of a bike route as temporarily closed by changing the tags "access", "foot", and "bicycle". I've adjusted this to use highway=construction instead and changed other values back, otherwise there's a bigger risk they don't get changed back correctly again. There are also three parts of the bike route from your changeset that I think are still open and accessible, so I kept those open:
I rode my bike by there yesterday, and from what I recall the construction only affects the unpaved parts, so we should keep access to the other parts open (and thus routable) as they're part of an important bike route. Thanks again for contributing and happy mapping!

Als ich die Ankündigung für diese grosse Fahrplanumstellung sah (und besonders auch die Sachen, die wegen der Baustelle am HB "nur" 1 Jahr so sind), dachte ich schon, das wird viel Arbeit und man braucht idealerweise einen guten Plan, was man dann in einem Jahr macht bzgl. der temporären Änderungen. Super, dass Du schon gleich am Umstellungsdatum die Anpassungen dafür gemacht hast, danke für Deinen grossen Einsatz! |

The last couple of times I rode this (August 2025 in this case), I rode right next to the ex ferrovia, just east of it, basically following the line that comes from the bridge and just going straight south. The track comes from my recorded gpx file. Have you seen any bigger changes to the situation on the ground lately? If so, we can figure see about how best to map these. Is there construction going on and that's why public access is now forbidden? (If yes, we should tag it as construction.) I was wondering if they would extend the bike route which is paved further south (for example at way/140952383) and also pave the northern part. Some more info would be appreciated, thanks! The wiki at surface=* says about "unpaved": "This value gives only a rough description; use a more precise value if possible." Could you give some background about your changes? At first sight it looks like we should be reverting the changes and going back to the previous version, but I wanted to ask you first. | 166641756 | Salut Habi Ich war grad mal so frei und hab "capacity=100+" nach "note=capacity 100+" verschoben, damit wir für Veloparkplätze im capacity tag nur noch Zahlen haben. Ich schaue grad, wo es zwischen dem SBB-Datensatz für Veloparkplätze (https://opentransportdata.swiss/de/cookbook/road-traffic-cookbook/bike-parking/) und OSM die grössten Abweichungen gibt, damit man da mal vorbeigehen kann, da ist's schön, wenn capacity nur Zahlen hat. Die Velostation am Bahnhof in Bern ist z.B. mit capacity=200 getaggt (node/824801815), auf deren Website unter https://www.bern.ch/velostation-bern steht "Velostation Bern: 2'660 Veloabstellplätze mit 24-Stunden-Zugang am Bahnhof Bern und weitere 1'000 Plätze bei der Universität vonRoll.", das inkludiert aber vielleicht auch andere Standorte. Im SBB-Datensatz wiederum ist es viel genauer aufgeschlüsselt, bräuchte aber eine Sondergenehmigung wegen der Lizenz, wenn man irgendwas in OSM damit als Quelle machen wollen würde. Daher scheinen mir punktuelle Begehungen und anhand dessen Aktualisieren der Daten in OSM erst mal der einfachste nächste Schritt. You're using "?" as the value for some keys, for example in way/696211212 which currently has "mtb:scale=?", "sac_scale=?" and "smoothness=?". If we don't know the value, it's best to just leave the tag empty. That way, someone can look for e.g. "roads that don't have any surface info" and find those to survey them. If they have an unsupported value like "?", those won't show up in the search, e.g. in Overpass. My suggestion would be to remove any tag that has "?" as the value, but maybe you have some workflow set up to work with this, so I wanted to check with you first. All the best and happy mapping,
