Hallo,
hier ist etwas schiefgegangen. All diese Wege haben ausschließlich fremde Tags die nicht in OSM sein sollten. Können diese Wege einfach wieder gelöscht werden?

Hi,
you introduced the new tag
ref:AU.gov.vic.colac-otway.bridgeno

This scheme doesn't match the others for such reference numbers.
Currently in use are these:
https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/search?q=ref%3AAU-#keys

Maybe this is the better one?
ref:AU-VIC.colac-otway.bridge

Hi,
these new boundaries don't align with the already existing ones. The old ones seem to be more accurate and align with natural features like the Niger river and city boundaries.

It seems that there is no response from Matthew. If there are no objections, I'll try to do a revert tomorrow.

I can't do cherry picking the correct and incorrect edits one by one if you overwrite them once a week on dozens of objects.

Sorting this issue out manually is up to you.

The phone number is fine as it is. But there are plenty other contact tags that you keep changing. Just check the history of any of the nodes:

Ich verstehe. "restrictions" wird in OSM allerdings nicht verwendet und "restriction" steht für einschränkende Verkehrsregeln.
Man könnte hazard=trees setzen - aber eine wirkliche Gefahr sehe ich da nicht.
Am besten setzt man
sidewalk:both:width für die Breite des befestigten Weges an den schmalen Stellen und ein sidewalk:both:maxwidth:physical für die tatsächliche Durchgangsbreite zwischen Mauer und Baum.

Once again. Stop reverting fixes of tags by other mappers.

158523601

Hallo,
was heißt denn
sidewalk:both:restrictions = trees
?

158603032

Checking the data further, I see most of these nodes inside buildings or on driveways. I'd say the accuracy of coordinates is at least questionable.

In sum, I suggest to revert this import.

158450404

There are still more than 2300 trees with these tags.

Hi,
you add a "name:ck" Tag, but 'ck' is not a valid language code. Which language is it?

158603032

Hi,
something went wrong here. All these nodes have a huge number of foreign tags that should not be in the OSM database.

And: Where can we find the mandatory documentation of this import?

E.g.
ARC_Zone = 90034
Addrees = 3601 OVERLAND AVE
Address_X = 3601 Overland Ave
Batch = 4/16/2018
CD = 5
City = Los Angeles
Full_ = 3601 Overland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90034
Install = 2018-04-27T00:00:00Z
Intersect_ = Charnock Rd
LocID = 5658
LocName = The Overland
Notes = TC: in the front AW: three marked between electric pole and parking sign
NumRacks = 1
OBJECTID = 2311;2310;2309
Priority = Normal
RackID = 0
Request = 10/16/2017
Side = R
State = CA
Status = M
Status_1 = Installed
Zip_Code = 90034

The node just had the username of the mapper added as key and value - no useful information there.
If there is some POI in this place, please feel free to add it.

Hi,
all the 4000 trees you imported here have many strange tags that are not in use in any other place.

Please make sure you always use common tagging styles and don't invent new tags.

Additionally: As this is a large import, please point us to the required documentation of it. The source of the data is also missing in the changeset.
Please read and follow our Import Guidelines:
osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines

Example tags:
arbotag = 194
circumference_class_description = 240-299 cm
circumference_class_id = 4
city = Liège
class_height_description = 15-19.9 m
class_height_number = 3
class_top_diameter_description = 10-14.9 m
class_top_diameter_number = 2
icar_street_id = 7729938
municipality = Liège
postal_code = 4020
remarkable = Non
street_code = 7017
street_name = Parc De La Boverie
top_diameter = 13.0
tree_species = Acer negundo

Hi,
thanks for the explanation!
Maybe it's better to change to a common tag, "ref", possibly with an extension like "ref:BAN".

Tags like "id*" are not common and also not documented in the Wiki.

158398194

Hi,
you added many "id_point" tags which looks like a mistake. Could you check that?

Please don't upload your field notes directly without adding proper tags.

You used many tags here that are not in use in any other place. Please use only tags that are described in the OSM Wiki or are available in the presets of your editor.
This is necessary to make sure that every other user can understand the data.
Please have a look to the documented tags in the wiki and use only these - only well-defined tags can be understood by other mappers and can be shown on maps and in applications.
