i codici sentiero andrebbero sulle relation e non sulle way. Il commento "SOTA" non è informativo su quello che hai fatto.

Scusami, ma perché continui a mettere i nomi dei sentieri sulle way? Dovrebbero essere sulle relation.
Inoltre commenti come "UUOUOUO" sono inappropriati, i commenti dovrebbero informare i mappatori su quello che hai fatto.

I'd just like to remove the trails that aren't marked on the ground. The Alpe Adria Trails are all marked on the ground. The JKAT trails are also marked on the ground, or at least the CAI will mark them. Sarebbe anche utile che il commento del changeset possa dare informazioni utili, "inserisci" non è un commento molto significativo.

Ti segnalo alcune migliorie per i tag della relation.

Prendo spunto dal sentiero escursionistico Sentiero Italia CAI, di cui qui un esempio: osm.org/edit?relation=6933796

Usare il tag ref= è fondamentale per la leggibilità perché i visualizzatori come mapy.com (uno dei migliori per l'outdoor) usano il tag ref= per mostrare il codice sulla mappa, mentre se non c'è il tag ref= usano il tag name= che spesso è troppo lungo e rende la mappa illeggibile.

Puoi vedere la differenza in uno di migliori visualizzatori (mapy.com):

(1) https://mapy.com/it/turisticka?l=0&x=13.1418210&y=46.3495068&z=18

(2) https://mapy.com/it/turisticka?l=0&x=13.4225652&y=46.3676625&z=17

(1) visualizza 2 percorsi CAI Ciclo con 2 nomi molto lunghi e altre ciclabili, il risultato finale è praticamente illeggibile e rende la mappa scarsamente fruibile

(2) visualizza 2 sentieri con dei codici molto corti e il risultato finale è molto leggibile e fruibile

Per altri visualizzatori, l'uso del tag ref= sarebbe comunque utile perché non usano il tag name= ma solo il tag ref=

Io ti proporrei di usare il tag ref=SIC ed eventualmente anche il stage=A07-B

Altro punto migliorabile: credo che nel tag name non sia corretto riportare "Friuli Venezia Giulia" perché è un riferimento geografico che non fa parte del nome, credo che sia meglio usare i tag specifici come ad esempio network.

Che ne pensi?

Ciao, eliminare un tratto di sentiero per farlo “matchare” con una strada non è corretto: così si perde informazione e si danneggia il dato.
Se il problema era il matching o mancavano dei tag, andava corretto, non rimosso il percorso.
In generale, chi introduce una modifica problematica dovrebbe anche occuparsi di sistemarla.

Ciao, riguardo al Rupa Trail, il punto di collegamento al sentiero CAI 749, a me sembra che sia almeno 20 metri più a nord. L'ho percorso i primi metri domenica scorsa. Hai possibilità di verificare con i tuoi GPX?

@Cortix: secondo me il modo più pulito e trasparente per ripristinare è fare un revert del tuo changeset originale, sempre che questo non impatti troppo su altre modifiche.

@Angelo Giuseppe e Jrachi: Mi pare che Cortix abbia ripristinato manualmente il sentiero, se Cortix ritiene la sua correzione manuale sufficiente o non vuole revertare, potete fare voi stessi il revert.

L'importante è che il dato finale su OpenStreetMap sia corretto. Trovate un accordo sulla strada più veloce per arrivarci.
