I noticed that you added a lot of points with address data to railway sites in Alsace. All of these sites (mostly stations) are already existing in the data. So your new points are obsolete and I'd ask you to delete your new points and add the address data to the existing points. You also always used "Gare de..." in the name. This is obsolete too, because the information that this point is a station is already existing with the tagging railway=station and don't have to be added in the name. Please use name only for the name itself (see also osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only). Also you tagged every new point as railway=station, while many of the existing points are correctly tagged as railway=halt. The difference between station and halt is very important for railway issues and your new points are causing confusion.

Hm. also für mich ist die Kupferbergterrase das vorne vor der Wohnanlage mit Blick auf die Stadt. Weiß nicht, ob es so sinnvoll ist, den Knoten mitten in die Anlage reinzulegen.

Warum wurde von railway=halt auf railway=station geändert? Das ist relativ eindeutig kein Bahnhof, sondern nur ein Haltepunkt, da keine Weiche vorhanden ist (vgl. osm.wiki/DE:OpenRailwayMap/Tagging#Bahnhof_/_Haltepunkt)

Danke für den Hinweis, die Funktion kenne ich. Muss mir wieder abgewöhnen, in Streetcomplete Hinweise zu erstellen, anstatt private GPX-Notizen. Aber manchmal ist das so verdammt praktisch ;-)

Bei der Verlegung der Gleise scheinen einige Nodes mit Milestones und Signalen am alten Platz zurückgeblieben zu sein und liegen nun *neben* dem Gleis.

The current tagging scheme is documented in ORM wiki: osm.wiki/DE:OpenRailwayMap/Tagging#Gleis (unfortunately only in the german one. As ORM is a very Germany centric project at all at the moment :-/ )

This tag indicates that the tram track has no surface like asphalt, paving stones or grass, but only the "naked" ballast.
I would have preferred you to start this discussion before removing information from the database, even if it seems useless to you.

Durch deine Änderungen an den Gleisen der Mainzelbahn sind die von mir eingepflegten Informationen zur Oberfläche im Surface-Tag (Rasengleis, Schotter, Asphalt etc.) leider verloren gegangen. Könntest du sie bitte wieder nachtragen?
