Thanks for surveying this!

Hi, the multiple ways to represent the bridge is intentional. It is common to map bridges as: (1) a highway/railway way down the centre tagged with bridge=yes; and, (2) a bridge area around the outline of the bridge structure tagged with man_made=bridge. See the wiki page man_made=bridge for more details, and have a look at how Walton Bridge (upstream) and Ribble and Avenham viaducts (downstream) are mapped.

In this particular instance, the highway needs splitting at the centre of the river halfway across the bridge because the Preston side has a right of way designation but the Ribble side currently does not (check out the 'Public Rights of Way' layer in the iD editor).

To restore the detail previously mapped by others, I've part reverted the changeset as 187256334, but kept the additional updates. :)

Hello, what is the imagery capture date of your ground level imagery? And how confident are you that your imagery shows some sort of traffic calming at this crossing?

I passed through just last week and there were no traffic calming features present. There is also recent Mapillary imagery available from May 2026: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=1831751564452686&focus=photo

Thanks for going back and checking, and for all the other details added nearby!

Hi, just checking is Ash Trees Surgery not the operator, and this is a local branch named Brookfield Surgery? What does the signage say?

Lancaster has both 5 and 6 digit local numbers. Are you sure that the original number was incorrect? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dialling_codes_in_the_United_Kingdom#cite_note-five-digit-17

The phone number was first added with an Every Door survey.

Thanks for your recent mapping around Greenodd. If the "recreation grounds" within the primary school are not accessible to the public it would be worth tagging them access=private.

I agree with @gurglypipe on this - in the absence of an exact, definitive route it does not meet the OSM verifiability test and does not belong on OSM.

An argument could be made for creating a relation containing just the requisite fell summits and start/finish point, but excluding any paths/routes.

@gurglypipe The national standards for street naming and numbering authorities dictate two options for recording the co-ords of street record UPRNs: at the startpoint or at the midway point. (see https://guidance.geoplace.co.uk/dec-addresses/basic-land-and-property-unit-blpu/data-entry-conventions/street-blpus)

Local (and indeed national) usage varies.

You have changed the website to one belonging to a campsite 100 miles away in Derbyshire. Please correct your edit.

Looks good to me!

Thanks!

From memory it is almost like a series of ramps with a step or few between them.

Hi, thanks for this edit and your recent/ongoing mapping around Barrow :)

You have added a few hotels but without any POI tagging, only building= tagging. building=hotel indicates a building originally designed or constructed as a hotel, but does not tell us its current use. If the hotels are still in use, then tourism=hotel is also required.

tourism=hotel?uselang=en-GB

Thanks :)

Hi, I've started reviewing this and other local changesets and unfortunately there's a number of errors:
* Addresses on non-addressable objects
* UPRNs added to a random small building in the centre of a site rather than the site/grounds area
* Multiple UPRNs added to buildings which should have only one
* Incorrect/inconsistent address data added
* UPRNs added to likely incorrect buildings

As this may take time to fully review and fix, a revert may be easier? The UPRNs added to houses in residential areas are generally likely correct, but unfortunately not the edits to other objects.

Hi Simon, thanks for the update. Does the sign/artwork at node/10232782899 (https://www.cyclestreets.net/location/188250/cyclestreets188250.jpg) not mark the official start/end? I can't remember where the blue NCN signage starts/finishes.

@silver1549 What's your source for the helipads you have added in Cumbria (in this and other chnagesets)?
