Il tag population da wiki non dovrebbe essere utilizzato sulle way. Inoltre non sono d'accordo a utilizzare il tag population su una valle perché non ha confini definiti. Mi sembra una convenzione condivisa perché al momento questa è l'unica valle in tutto il database con questo tag, a parte le valli in Yemen che però sono taggate anche con il tag place=village (https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1dv9).

Inoltre vedo che continui a cancellare i place dei comuni sparsi (node/3948765487/history), dopo una discussione nella ML (https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-it/2021-November/073106.html) in cui si è convenuto debbano rimanere e una discussione in un changeset (changeset/113703619).

Simone ha corretto perché non si tagga per il renderer. Il dato viene usato in realtà, ci sono siti dedicati a questo tipo di rendering (per esempio https://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org/) e anche su OSMand puoi abilitare il layer per i percorsi escursionistici :)

I don't think tags like "name:error" and "wikidata:error" are good ideas. If a tag is wrong I would fix it or just delete it. Also, the Wikidata seems right to me, it points to the same location

Do Not Delete=* is not a valid tag though. If you want to communicate something to other mappers you can use the note=* tag instead
