node/2793461769 is also tagged unnecessarily, if you'd have looked at the history of the node.

All the higway=yes values you replaced on way/228504528 and way/228504529 can - in my opinion - simply be removed.

For node/1167110204 any highway-tag seems unnecessary

Keeping changesets local makes them *much* easier to review, as you've requested.
I've only looked at one node in your changeset, namely node/943028847
If you'd looked at the available aerial imagery there it's immediately evident that this node should be a "highway=give_way" + "direction=forward".
It would be *much* more beneficial to the OSM data if you actually took care to change values to sensible ones.

Please, when you "fix some issues", don't do that in the same changeset in the west of the United States and in South East of Europe.
This makes reviewing of such changesets extremely cumbersome.

Not my tool, I just helped to make it run for Switzerland ;)

Interestingly, you didn't even change the name of the hut in this changeset, but only the correct phone number to 'voir site', which is wrong in terms of OSM data.
I've added the phone number back and changed the name, too.

I'm also here because of the tool from confusedbuffalo.
When correcting the phone number I'd also take care of deduplicating them from `contact:phone` and `phone` to only one of the keys.
I've done that in changeset/174277232

PS: I often use `phone` as it seems that this is the default of ID, but both are valid, in my opinion just not as duplicates...

Ich bin wegen Telefonnummern-Validierung über dieses Changeset gestolpert.
Wir haben schon mal darüber gesprochen, dass der Import von Hüttendaten etwas schief gelaufen ist.
Hier hast du die schon in `contact:phone` bestehende Telefonnummer in `phone` dupliziert und die `website` von https zu http geändert.
Somit hast du die Daten nicht wirklich verbessert.
Ein Import von Daten ist *immer* besser mit der Community abgesprochen, schade ist das hier nicht geschehen.

Der Pfad way/1447747492, der in den swisstopo Bildern zu sehen ist, habe ich in changeset/174258811 wieder hergestellt...

Der Weg way/46341226 hier ist zwar auf den Bing Luftfotos zu sehen, diese sind aber laut den Metadaten aus "7/19/2010-5/6/2015".
Die swisstopo Orthofotos sind im Normalfall in der Schweiz höchstens 3 Jahre alt, dort ist der Weg nicht zu sehen.
Gibt es den Pfad in der Realität so, oder hast du den "nur" von den Bildern eingezeichnet?

Du hast hier way/25994829 von einer Landstrasse (highway=secondary, osm.wiki/Switzerland/Map_Features#Highway) zu einem Pfad geändert.
Ein Pfad wird eher nicht von Auto befahren, die Breitenbachstrasse sieht aber anhand der Luftfotos deutlich nach Landstrasse aus, und es verlaufen auch vier Buslinien darüber.
Das macht nicht Sinn, ich habe deshalb dein Changeset zurückgesetzt, OK?
Erklär doch, was du machen willst, dann finden wir einen Weg, das umzusetzen...

Revertierung in changeset/174257397 und Löschung des Wegstückes dann in changeset/174257545 "richtig" gemacht
