Hey johanemilsson,

If you would like to map anything not specified in a HOT task, please do so outside of said task.
This makes it faster for mappers to map the task and easier for validators looking at changes.

Regards,

Daniel

Hey Hassan Abdulsalam,

way/974775308
This building outline is way smaller than you have mapped it and includes 2 seperate, white buildings. The colors here are clearly different and the surface color is similar around it. You can check your mapping with Maxar. It can be found in the right tab (layer menu).
You did correctly align to Mapbox, btw.

Regards,

Daniel

PS: I have not reviewed your other changes, but the ones I've seen look okay.

Hey Niall_Kerr,

Please use and align to Mapbox. You can find it in the right sidebar (layer menu). You can switch to other imagery (Maxar) to check your mapping.

Daniel

Bonjour schneider,

Salutations,

Daniel

What license are these layers using exactly?

And, what about the Lidar and Contour layers?
Can we also use those in OpenStreetMap? If so, under the same license?

109778917

Hey PierZen,

What layers (it's CNIGS, btw) are you using exactly? What license and geographical extent does this have and would you have a link for the custom layers in iD and/or JOSM?

The existing links for CNIGS imagery through openstreetmap.fr don't seem to work anymore.

You did seem to have a compare website set up for both the 2014-2015 and 2016 imagery yourself, but the imagery layers no longer show up there neither.

Daniel

Welcome back to OpenStreetMap,

Go to http://learnosm.org/ and learn how to square buildings.

Happy mapping!

Hallo en welkom CycleDreams,

Feedback: Voor openingstijden i.p.v. "Dinsdag tot en met zaterdag" graag de juiste tagging gebruiken. Deze kan je hier vinden:
opening_hours=*#Simple_examples

Hey and welcome aziwoqpd,

Looks good. This park is already visible on Maxar -and Esri- (see right sidebar in editor for imagery layers). You can draw it as an area, though it may still be better to wait for it to be finished of course.

Anyhow, Maxar is newer and can be better sometimes in this region. Maxar Premium is currently down, it will be restored at a later time.

Regards,

Daniel

Hey Lars and welcome,

First, I would appreciate a reply. This way we know you are reading your changeset comments.

Feedback...

...regarding the river:
We add names on the way, not the area. Unfortunately, the river way was not continued or supplied with a fixme by the last mapper. You can find it here:
way/503402129/history

The river way should be drawn as the centerline of the river.

...regarding Borgestadholmen:
This is already added as a relation and seems to appear correctly in a search
relation/10489563/history

By connecting the additional area to the coastline, you have also broken the rendering of the island.

...regarding the random nodes:
You seem to have added a node to at least 3 objects by accident.

If so, you should remove these nodes.
(Sidenote: I see there's some issues with this forest overlapping the river, as it is imported data.)

You can always mark a changeset for review when you save it.

However, I think it may be better to revert this changeset if all of the above is true.

Regards,

Daniel

Beste Cothen,

Lijken me verschillende kleinere onderdelen.

Groet,

Daniel

Beste Cohen,

"CAROLUSSCHOOL" lijkt me niet volledig in hoofdletters geschreven ;)

Beste Cothen,

Groet,

Daniel

Beste Cothen,

Groet,

Daniel

If you need to combine segments with the same tags, just shift click both, right click and select the 'combine' option (cross sign).

Careful when splitting/combining segments though, some ways have route relations. You shouldn't touch these with iD as it might break them.
Once you get the hang of iD, you can switch to JOSM, which prevents issues like glueing landuse to ways.

109485474

If you click on the area you can see its tags in the left sidebar/tab.

Ways/lines shouldn't be connected to Landuse/natural/areas, as there's no reason for them to be.

You can right click on each of the nodes in the editor and click the 'disconnect' option (arrows pointing away from each other.

Once they are disconnected you can choose to move the node around or delete it if there's no bend in the way there. Note, this may move either of the two new nodes. Selecting the way/line first and then moving the node may help.

Alternatively, you can leave the two new nodes on top of each other. This will prompt a "close nodes" warning in the editor. You don't have to worry too much about warnings yet, however.

The "c" in "carretera" should be.
