Hey katpatuka,

node/8982867606 seems to be a duplicate of node/894361650
Are you sure it is a different tower?

Daniel

I have updated the POI in
changeset/109165668

An amenity=* tag could always be added later.

Hey KetoCat,

This building seems to not be vacant since H2 2019. It is now used by the "Universal God Centre" ("Universal God" charity).
- 2019: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?focus=photo&pKey=577430419866932
- 2020: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=1128170260999636&focus=photo

They were and are still active, as far as I can see from their Facebook:

Hey Roykuh1,

Voor @Robert's lijkt mij "arts_centre" niet de goede tag. Kijk eens naar "amenity=community_centre" + "community_centre=youth_centre" + "community_centre:for=juvenile":
amenity=community_centre

of een "amenity=social_facility":
amenity=social_facility

Hey raonara,

I see you are a verified Amazon mapper. However, I do not see the -required- #amap hashtag in any of your (recent) changesets.
osm.wiki/Organised_Editing/Activities/Amazon#FAQ.27s

Could you explain this, please?

Daniel

Hey PdxKicker,

According to the website, this location is called "WellHaven Pet Health Hazel Dell" (an alternative name could be the brand name "WellHaven"). The current name seems to be a combination of the brand name and place name; it may not be the location's name.
Are you sure this is the signposted name?

Daniel

Hey greg,

Please be more careful with the way you name and tag objects in the future. Most of the time, you can find the right tags on the wiki:
osm.wiki/

You have also gotten plenty of changeset comments. It would be helpful if you'd reply to them more often. So far, you've only done so once.
https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=2063187

You should also, if you have time, go back to older changesets and look for errors. You can use [quality assurance](osm.wiki/Quality_assurance) tools for this.

If you need help mapping, you can join any of the community's social channels via the [OSM Community Index](osm.wiki/OSM_Community_Index).

Happy mapping!

Daniel

Yes, please.

Hallo Meli,

tourism=information

Streetside parking is usually not mapped as parking areas(, though for certain cases parking=streetside exists). They are usually mapped on way segments with "parking lane" tagging. Anyhow, parking areas are mostly meant for seperate areas dedicated to parking (usually by malls/supermarkets or in city centres).
osm.wiki/Parking

(Excuse me for the additional comment, I only just saw you already mapped on in this changeset)

Hey nivesnine,

residential areas for individual apartment complexes are ok. The way residential areas are mapped in general varies from place to place.
You can ignore landuse for now. It doesn't matter if a building is mapped without landuse.

108712957

Hey nivesnine,

Looks like you know how to square corners. Otherwise, you can always look this up with the help tab in the editor's right sidebar, or go to http://learnosm.org/ to learn more.

If you have time, feel free to check/survey whether the buildings "Laundry Room" and "Community Building" have correct names (not mapped by you). They seem to indicate their function instead of their name. As you may know, these are indicated with their own tags. You can look up tags on the wiki:

back garden* woods.

Hey Southpaw and welcome,

This changeset includes one empty line / incomplete building, a few disconnected corner nodes and non-square buildings -they can be squared by right clicking on them and selecting "Square", or pressing the "Q" button-; although it is also ok to follow the line on the roof they're usually square.

If you're not sure something's right, you can always mark a changeset for review when saving it.

Head over to http://learnosm.org/ to learn more about editing.

Daniel

Hey Alanantos,

In changeset/108384389 I have disconnected trash cans and benches from landuse, as well as aligning a few ways and removing service=parking_aisle from the entrance way to a parking lot.

Happy mapping!

Daniel

Hallo BeTiTa,

Hey highflyer74,

The outer line consists of multiple unique segments which relate to the landslide itself. Note, the area in the quarry is defined by the embankment topography and not a steep drop. As such, I have used a multipolygon to create one object for information to be added onto, instead of adding an area/polygon on top. This helps keep an overview.
See for another example relation/12119561

Daniel
