If you try to add overlapping ways to a relation it complains (I've tried!). There are a lot of discussions about this on various forums and I've found no better way to do this than to map the floors and have a single node to tag the shop. But I'm very willing to change this if you can find a good alternative.

No, sorry. The way has always had wheelchair=yes. But the node had wheelchair=no. I think this will need a survey.

I don't - but one of the edits was done by @wheelmap_visitor to say that wheelchair=yes (changeset/96668153) so I think that is likely to be correct. I'll update.

Thanks for pointing that out - when I've been updating shops to vacant, I've just removed all the obvious redundant tags and changed the shop to vacant. I hadn't noticed that this automatically also adds building=yes.

Just a note to point out that disused:shop was left as a tag when this hairdresser was added. I'm removing it.

Thanks - when I started tagging I asked which was preferred, old_name or was:name and I was told that using either would be fine so I've chosen to use old_name. This page seems to say that most people prefer old_name over was:name:

Thanks - I added it to the way because I looked at the history and that was previously tagged as Wilko way/538847858/history

I think the wikidata page just needs updating with the new owner. They have bought the name, website and have access to the social media of the old company. The facebook page is a continuation of the old page and says "We're back!". I'm not sure what the benefit is of using new tags.
