There's a branding problem with this stuff right now, and iD has been thinking it's a Tesla Destination Charger instead of a Tesla Supercharger. not:brand:wikidata=Q478214 seems to be the fix at the moment. It's worse with Supercharger for Business sites.
Oops, I also changed network=Tesla to network=Tesla Supercharger.
BTW, I just added my usual Supercharger station tags for this station in Version #6. I only changed 1 you had already done: motorcar=yes to motorcar=designated
Hi KelsonV. I like that you mapped the Supercharger station as a way. Back when EV chargers were a pole or two, a node maybe made sense, but now we have stations that are acres in size. OSM isn't displaying them like parking lots, even though they are part of parking lots. All that's shown now is an icon. Would you like if OSM (carto) showed the areas of charging stations similar to parking lots, maybe with a contrasting color? I'm going to promote this idea on the OSM forum and am looking for people who would back it.

None of the major map sites have it: Gmaps, Apple Maps, or Bing Maps. Surprising about Apple because a friend who works for Vantor (formerly Maxar) told me last year the Apple was buying more of their satellite imagery than G - for Apple Maps.
Unfortunately, we don't have aerial imagery yet within OSM. Even Esri World Imagery only has the beginning of construction.
What I meant to say is enlarge the retail area that currently only includes the Goodwill, and expand it to include Rove. Then this problem goes away. Rove has a Gelsen's c-store that's not yet been mapped. Also there are solar PV canopies that cover most of the 40 stalls. All good stuff to map.
| 180333350 | Here's an example of how they map something like this in Norway. There are 3 different charging stations there, including a Tesla Supercharger.
The Tesla Supercharger station is a separate station as given by https://www.tesla.com/findus/location/supercharger/4006656 . There are other chargers at Rove (12 CCS posts, 2 of which have a CHAdeMO plug). Not sure yet who owns them (maybe EVgo) and if they have their own network.
We have a problem here because we have a way (Rove) tagged as a charging station that has a node inside also tagged as a charging station (Tesla Supercharger).
| 180227165 | The cables in Norway and other EU countries. It's getting crazy in South America because they are getting cars from all over the world (including China) and they now have charging stations with at least 4 different plugs. Take a look at this station in Bogotá, Colombia:
BTW, are you on the OSM community forum? I have some photos of the Supercharger cables I want to send you, because I'm so confused about that! :)
You were actually only about 3m away when you mapped it the first time! :) You can see this if you use Esri World Imagery as the background layer. I see you're using "MinimalRubyOSM" and I'm not familiar with that. I use 2 editors: iD (the default web editor at www.openstreetmap.org) and JOSM, which is the best for measuring.
I just moved the node to the center of the stalls (shown by Esri World Imagery). I also updated how this is named (branch, like bank branches, gets the location name, but the name gets standardized to "Tesla Supercharger"). Also added the usual set of tags.
| 180227165 | Ha! This is funny, because I've been waiting on aerial imagery for this station and Esri has the first imagery, but only construction. I'm waiting on the lines since I've waited this long. See this post where I talk about this (I am electrons4u on that forum):

| 179495380 | Ha ha! Welcome to the club. I was concerned that I had fucked up this station in Norway. :) I saw that this Tesla Supercharger had 2 cables in the past, and I'm not sure which they were using. Were they the original Tesla plug (that does both AC and DC) and a CSS Combo 2 (for higher-power DC)? Or was it the Mennekes (Type2) plug?
Also, did Tesla upgrade the 8 original posts to 250 kW or leave them at 150 kW? In the US they usually upgrade the old 120/125/150 kW posts when there is an expansion, but they often leave the 250 kW posts (V3) when they add 325 kW posts (V4). In the EU the V4 posts might only output 250 kW. Tesla does not document on their website if a station has a mixture, so it's up to websites like supercharge.info, nobil.no, and OSM to keep track of this. :)
Hi, I normally just map Superchargers in the US because that keeps me busy, but I noticed this one showed up as expanded on https://supercharge.info. I updated ref:supercharge_info because that should be a number (244), as in https://supercharge.info/map?siteID=244 Also, iD (OSM web-based editor) wanted to "upgrade" the station to a Tesla Destination Charger, so had to add not:brand:wikidata=Q478214 to prevent that. By the way, what are the ref:tesla and ref:tesla2 tags used for? They are not present on any of the Tesla Superchargers mapped in the United States. Maybe they are old and not used anymore, especially the ref:tesla2?

3-storey is right across the street and 5-story is just to the south of Wasabi and the plaza. A 5-storey building there would be interesting.
It could be residential or office, and they could add on and build it higher. The buildings across the street and next door have retail (including restaurants) on the ground level and offices and apartments above. I could see a developer come in and turn that into a 3- to 5-storey building just like across the street.
