Thanks! Heh, heh, I just updated 5 of the 6 Superchargers currently under construction in CO with "(under construction)" in the name (I use https://supercharge.info/map).

However, I do like your ideas and I didn't know about the construction=yes tag or "area under construction". Will that change the appearance for casual map visitors? I'll test later. I did think of waiting to map until ready, but then decided it's worth it to get them on the map, especially since some have been there since May 2024, waiting on a transformer. I guess bottom line is thinking about what's least confusing for regular map users. "(under construction)" in the name will work, but maybe that's not the most elegant or proper way to handle this. Got to run!

Map users can't immediately see the site is under construction. They have to click on the node and notice the FixMe, so might miss it. So I went back to my original idea and added "(under construction)" to the name. This way, if I don't see it first, someone else will and will fix the name, like happened for the Lubbock TX Supercharger. Sorry for the confusion!

Hi brendan77, and thanks for bringing this up. It's still under construction and I should have made a note about that like you did.

I first ran into this issue when I added the Lubbock TX Supercharger. I added “(under construction)” to the name and made a note to remove the “(under construction)” after the site went live, but then I forgot about the note! Someone else fixed it later.

So this time I didn't add the "(under construction)" to the name, but that caused the issue we now face. Now I'm thinking the best way to handle it is with a note. What do you think?

The Tesla Supercharger actually wraps around the existing ChargePoint station. It's not replacing it. I tried to place the marker where 6 of the 8 stalls are, which is to the south of the 2-stall ChargePoint station.

Correction of typo in note: ACCEL closed not in 2012 but in 2021.
