So I've mapped the roads where I live - my very first contribution. Some of the local road names escape me - I don't use them all that often - so I'll have a walk round and start adding stuff. I also have trouble remembering exactly what streets branch off of St. Leonard's road, so I've still got quite a bit of mapping to do in my local area...

I didn't think adding to the map was this easy!

Anyway, I think I'll start off mapping some missing roads in St. Annes first (for example, where I live!)(See the note at the end of St Leonard's road east). Then I'm going to be asking relatives (of my mother's side) to help me start mapping Jenbach, in Tirol, Austria.

My first interest in this map started with the use of KDE's Marble plugin. I grew curious - I've never heard of OpenStreetMap, and bits of it seemed missing, so I wandered what I would need to do before I could contribute.
