The way that people choose which `highway` tag to use in OSM varies around the world. It doesn't always follow that an "official" classification will map onto exactly one OSM highway tag. If you look down https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/us/78 (the USA forum) you'll see quite a bit of chat about this sort of thing.

I'm not in thr USA myself, but do knoe that there has been an awful lot of discussion about road classification in the USA and elsewhere in the forum, and people there have said that the USA doesn't tend to map official designations onto OSM `highway` values.
Before doing more of this (and especially before doing any reverts) I'd suggest discussing your proposed changes there.

Was this mechanical edit discussed anywhere?

Blake Street is oneway as mapped - oneway south past Ask, no entry northbound at the other end.

Perhaps ask over at https://community.openstreetmap.org/ as to what this is and how best to map it?

"6142525 | Dromlohan" and "6142519 | Currahchase North" both fell out of the database last night. I deleted the spur in changeset/184248797 and both now look OK in Josm's validator.

Usual problem - townland etc. breakage - fixed in changeset/184053304 .

node/13205653012 seems to be a duplicate of way/775843296#map=22/27.6985323/-80.9006044&layers=V . Can you please tidy up after yourself?

You've said in the changeset description "Corrected English name", but that's not actually what you actually did; I'm guessing that the gnome-maps UI doesn't make it clear what language you're editing.
https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/osm-deep-history/#/node/280680120 shows the name in various languages.
The English name has been "Ein Hawd" for about 5 years; I'm guessing that your "Ein-Hod" was just a transliteration difference?
