Changeset When Comment

For completeness: https://www.mastersofgames.com/rules/bar-billiards-rules.htm :)
It does see to be going through a bit of a revival. I was in the pub when the one at changeset/116037001 was installed.

Hello,
Are you sure that this still exists? The links on changeset/154996123 suggest "missing, presumed sunk".
Best Regards,
Andy

"bar billiards" even. "bat billiards" would be very different...

Thanks for mentioning it! It's not the first time he's done that. I've previously had to explain that Bat Billiards was a different thing to billiards: changeset/151567498 :)

@mueschel

> I'm pretty sure that there no dogs are served here.

I'll try and avoid channelling my inner Renfield (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDlFWoqU2_s ) but let me just say that you are incorrect here.

Many pubs are dog friendly. Some offer snacks for dogs, but this is the first that I've seen that _sells_ normally free dog snacks for £2.75 (you could probably get a butty for less in Uppermill).

How would you suggest tagging this?

Quoting railway=abandoned : "Former railway; the track has been removed but it's still visible that there used to be a railway". That's exactly the case here.

Uber are editing here again so it makes sense to fix the 3 routes to make it easier to spot breakage.

Did you actually do anything here? I've fixed the gap and the kerb in changeset/182743252 .

To investigate the "what should be where" problems, I'd definitely recommend an on-the-ground survey. If your bosses are unwilling to bankroll that, then you might instead try looking for appropriately licenced photographs on e.g. Geograph or Mapillary.
Also please use OSM UK's Cadastral parcels for alignment - that will indicate a number of problems and help you fix them.
Finally - do raise problems you find in the UK forum - people _will_ help you!

Hello,
A few things have obviously gone very wrong in the vicinity of node/13817503042/history . These include:
* pavement crosses building
* pavement diagonally crosses kerb way (unlikely)
* gaps created in route relations (I've fixed those here)

182634238

And the Trans-Pennine Trail in the same place: relation/4139229#map=20/53.4026703/-2.9857982

182634238

Oops - looks like your addition of way/1513376565/history broke NCN56: relation/156406#map=20/53.4025835/-2.9856755 .
Can You fill in the gap?

https://ra.osmsurround.org/analyzeRelation?relationId=9476151 and https://ra.osmsurround.org/analyzeMap?relationId=9476151 show a number of "stragglers" near Melrose - I guess that they should not be there any more?

Hello,
This broke a couple of townland relations. I fixed them in changeset/182738663 . If you use the JOSM validator after each edit and tidy up any broken relations, this won't happen :)
Best Regards,
Andy

Hallo,

Hello,
It looks like this edit accidentally added way/770821877 to relation/7884303/history . That relation is a "relation of relations", and shouldn't have any ways in it. However, it is easy to do it accidentally.
Best Regards, Andy

I suspect that at least you should be following osm.wiki/Automated_edits and possibly also osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines .

Was the mechanism by which "mcom-contributions" submits updates to OSM discussed with the community anywhere?
