Just for info, I've just added a separate "kissing_gate" icon to https://github.com/SomeoneElseOSM/openstreetmap-carto-AJT (that's a style that other people can use if they want to). See https://github.com/SomeoneElseOSM/SomeoneElse-style/blob/master/style.lua#L877 for which gate types are shown as gates and which as kissing_gates.
In OSM's "standard" style there's an open issue about displaying more barrier types https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/issues/846 .

Actually, I'd suggest adding a "real_ale" tag, like here way/354421040 .
You won't be able to do this from MAPS.ME, but you will from the web-based editors at openstreetmap.org.

OK, done in changeset/44476206 .

Is the name of 117730 correct? It was last edited by a user who changed it from what I thought it was called.

@pitscheplatsch - does this need reverting (no response or new edits from the mapper in 3 weeks)?

43958005

@pitscheplatsch Reverted in changeset/44469749 . Some of the data here still looks a bit iffy, but at least it's there.

Hi Dinamik,
Thanks for the reply above. Someone's restored the admin_level=3 South Ossetia relation/1152717 , so things are back to a previous situation now I think.
Best Regards,
Andy

Just checking - does note/206654 make any sense now? My recollection was when I added that note that was a service road running through where the Travelodge building was - is that wrong, and the second access is into what OSM has as the Little Chef and Subway (and is it still a Little Chef, given that so many of them have been repurposed)?
Certainly the Bing imagery struck me as being out of date 2 years ago; no idea if it's been updated since.

Are you sure that these are "gift" shops? If they're really record shops please don't map them as something else.
You can see what shop tags are in use looking at http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/shop#values . "shop=music" seems to be the most popular tag for record shops.
You won't be able to do this using MAPS.ME so you'll need to go to openstreetmap.org on a PC and use one of the web-based editors there.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Best Regards,
Andy

Oops, looks like the bounding box here became a bit large by accident :)

44409238

It would be really helpful here if the bounding box for two changes didn't include about a quarter of the planet. That way local mappers can see what has been affected near them.

Andy

It would be really helpful here if the bounding box for two changes didn't include about a quarter of the planet, as previously mentioned on changeset/39721595.

The image link on node/4547299733 seems to be broken?

Hello, which was the "watery island" that you fixed?
