Hi,
I think you've missed some bits (e.g. way/428924376, way/389112223 and possibly others).
I can't say I noticed the change when I drove back from Newark last week, does that end need changing too?
Obviously we can't use the AA road atlas as a source, but if you're familiar with the area and have seen the signs taken down then obviously it's OK.
Best Regards,
Andy

@tomca12 Lots of things are in the data that any one individual map can't show. There are web maps that already show this sort of information - see e.g. http://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org/#?map=14!53.0918!-1.6495 and http://www.thunderforest.com/maps/outdoors/ . If you think that it'd be a useful additon to OsmAnd's default map styles I'd raise it with them. OsmAnd's style handling is scriptable and the method I described at @SomeoneElse/diary/38988 might work there too (but with an OsmAnd style file rather than a lua script).

Hello,
Can you explain what's happening here? These ways seem to be unconnected to "normal" data, and part of relations that either have data that's unused elsewhere in OSM (type=lanelet) or garbage (lanes=1,6443454).
Best Regards,
Andy Townsend, on behalf of OpenStreetMap's Data Working Group.

Hello,
Something's gone very wrong here - 10k unconnected nodes have been uploaded in a small area?
Do you know what might have caused it?

Hi Chetan - Thanks for the list!

Thanks - I've removed it in changeset/41312836 .

Hello,
You've moved the Epperstone bypass to match the imagery here, but if you look at the GPS traces near node/4177041164 you'll see that the Bing imagery here is actually offset to to the south. You can see the problem here:
http://osmhv.openstreetmap.de/changeset.jsp?id=39225094
Can you please revisit your edits here, fetch the underlying GPS traces into the editor (press the GPS button), move the imagery to match that (hold down space and use the mouse to drag the imagery) and then re-edit?

Oops, you managed to change the name of Portugal here. See https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/51281/why-portugal-name-is-travessa-santa-margarida-de-chavez . It's been fixed now.

Hello,
I see you've changed way/361547270/history from "wood=deciduous" to "leaf_type=broadleaved". This might be correct - many deciduous trees are broadleaved - but it might not be (there are deciduous coniferous trees). Are you familiar with the trees here so that you know that the new tag here is correct,
Best Regards,
Andy
Ahoj,
S pozdravem,
Andy

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
You've added a hotel in the middle of the road here - are you sure that that is correct? Where should it go really?
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
Is node/1093705492/history really called "ream hills caravan park"? It was previously named "Eagle & Child". The campsite is elsewhere at node/4318130890 .

Hello again,
I'm afraid you've missed the "big picture" here again. The immediate edit prior to yours to node/110068049/history was a newbie one that caused a fair few other problems (including removing lots of names from the South Carolina relation).
It's always worth checking how data that shows up on a QA site got to be how it is and not just taking it at face value.
"Fixing" problems like this that hide problems from QA sites is not helpful; it actually makes it more difficult to fix the real underlying problems in the data.

Andy

Just checking - is way/258462141/history really oneway from west to east?

Hello,
Can you explain what these things are? way/308903638 doesn't have any useful tags. Also, before data is imported into OpenStreetMap osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines must be followed.
Best Regards,
Andy

Halo,
Bisakah Anda menjelaskan apa hal-hal ini? way/308903638 tidak memiliki tag berguna. Juga, sebelum data diimpor ke OpenStreetMap osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines harus diikuti.
Salam Hormat,
Andy

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
Thanks for adding "FishPetsReptiles Ltd".
In order that people using the data (such as maps) know what it is, you'll need to add some sort of tag to it, perhaps "shop" or "office". You can see commonly used values for these by looking at http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org.uk/keys/shop#values and http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org.uk/keys/office#values , and if nothing fits you can make a new one up.

Andy

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
If this is a posbox, you'll need to ensure that people using the data know that it is one.
If you go back into the editor, click on the thing that you have just added, and type "post" into the search box at the left you'll see "post box" as the top option.
Click that, save, and that's it!
Hope you don't mind me mentioning this, just trying to help. Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap!,
You seem to have updated a large number of restaurants here. Can I just check that you've actually visited them all and know that they're really "cuisine=vegetarian", and haven't just guessed based on the name? If you have been guessing based on the name, please don't do that. It doesn't add any information to OSM (and other people are of course free to guess in the same way as you), and also it's quite common in some cultures to have "jokingly misleading names" - a pub might call itself "the termperance rooms" or similar (a quick web search finds http://www.thetemperancefulham.co.uk/ - in the UK I'm sure there are others, especially in places with similar senses of humour), so you may well guess wrong.

Andy

Hi,
What's the justification of adding admin_level=2 to Sealand? I know they _claim_ to be a country, but lots of people/places claim that, and many aren't. A few miles up the road from me someone claims to live in http://micronations.wikia.com/wiki/Republic_of_New_Finland , but I don't take my passport whenever I go to Buxton!

Hi,
First of all, thanks for mentioning the problems here over at @Chetan_Gowda/diary/39149 in a diary entry.
However, I notice that you've done a bit of "fixing" of the resulting mess in this and a few other changesets. I'm sure that this is well intentioned, but (based on cleaning up previous similar messes) I suspect that it might make the overall fixing harder. From looking at changeset/41096427 it's quite likely that a full revert of that might be needed, and if the data edited there has changed subsequently it makes that revert more difficult.
Best Regards,
Andy
