I know that it's annoying when new editors struggle ( changeset/32994765 ), but they've only made 7 edits, even though they were over 4 months. Maybe an offer of help*, asking what they're trying to do, would be a better approach than "I've reverted this changeset...."?

You've changed the tagging on node/3175055440/history from "youth_club" to "community_centre". Surely that's exactly the sort of change that needs to be discussed first, so that anyone rendering community_centre on a map won't be surprised when they see a youth club appear, and can take action to prevent it if they want. Usage of both "youth_club" and "community_centre:for=juvenile" are quite low; there isn't a huge difference in usage.
Also, if you've "corrected" someone's tagging it's only polite to explain in a changeset discussion comment what the previous problem was.

Any reason why you changed "note" to "description" on way/363076217/history ? The previous tag, "note", seems perfect for the information here.

What does "tag cleanup" mean? It looks like you've removed some tags here (such as to way/344084405/history ). Even if the previous tag didn't match what was on the ground, it's only polite to explain to the previous mapper (perhaps by a changeset comment) what the problem was, and what they should have mapped it as.

This is a changeset with a very large area! How do I, as a local mapper in the area that's covered, work out what's been changed near me?
Also, "Integrity checks for ways" doesn't actually explain what the problem before was, and you did to fix it. Using meaningful changeset comments helps mappers work together and understand what each other is doing.

Hi, just spotted you'd updated way/105352110 - did you perhaps forget to update the source? There are certainly more trees there than there were before (though perhaps not quite as many as mapped). Should perhaps "Bing" be listed as one of the sources?
Also - did you happen to notice if the new car park access road (across the road) was open yet?

Hi, Could you explain the changes to way/349329544/history please? I mapped it (based on what seemed to be correct at the time) 5 months ago - has the wiki's idea of "power plant mapping" changed yet again since then, or did I miss something?

On a more general point, it's always helpful to explain to people what the problem is rather "than just changing" it. I happened to spot this change to something I'd mapped previously; most people wouldn't. It would definitely help to explain changes such as this in changeset comments (like this one).

Just for info - I've nudged a bit of the path and canal near changeset/17807942#map=18/53.07873/-2.06745 towards the GPS traces (there's a few more now of both the canal and the path)

Was this in any way a survey, or just a mechanical edit of anything with "heli" in the name to Heliport? As the discussion at https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/tagging/2015-November/thread.html#27238 made clear, it's not clear cut exactly what is what.

Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap! A quick question - do you know if the Greggs at node/3490805097 (the bakery next door to the cafe at node/3490805096 ) is still there? I'm asking because I walked past one at node/3800888995 not so long ago, and with the one you've just added that's four in town including the cafe - I wonder if one of them might have closed?

Thanks for that - there's a different discussion to be had about whether "maxweight=4.5359237" is the best way of tagging it (see the discussion on @karussell/diary/36220 for example), but at least they're not showing a maxweight that's too large now.
