If the hospital grounds area have part fence, part wall, part hedge, then cutting up the outline and tagging each section of the line with the respective type of barrier will automatically make it a multi-polygon. Come to think of it, that still needs doing for a major portion of the area.

How many amenity=hospital tags do you count in that area, for that is the quantifier. As the wiki writes "Note that the buildings should not carry the amenity=hospital tag". They don't. A survey is to reveal what each part is specifically is, but many house multiple functions i.e. just hospital. And then there's always another wiki page
building=hospital : A building which forms part of a hospital. Use amenity=hospital for the hospital grounds!

You mean the hospital grounds outline, which is something different to the 'hospital' (buildings)? Yes, that line is in 3 parts. See zero issue with that.

Or, you could have moved the name to e.g. description:it tag or note. Now the information is lost.

BTW, where do you see a multipolygon on the hospital beyond the part that has a courtyard on the north side?

PS, why a comma separator instead of semicolon with 2 colours you'd ask: Because in ID editor at the time a semicolon would erase the first colour after selecting the second. Fortunately no longer, but I've stopped 2 colours. Asked 8 months ago how and never got an answer.

Wholly privately owned. Mapped a few more things, the building is a hangar and the north stopway has exhaust deflection wall. Think the runway is too short to even receive a smaller business jet. Cessna at best. Anyway, now we know. Putting the topic to rest.

There's a container storage and transit area next door, not mapped yet. There's a few of these in the region. Also Ortona is the naval center of Adriatic oil/gas drilling servicing like Den Helder port and De Kooij is for flying, Jan. Whatever you 'improved' is mysterious too, but you seem to have a keen interest in places from which one goes airborne ;o

PS seen many a helicopter from my hilltop going direction of the 8 rigs I can see on clear days coming from the Ortona direction but did not know where from until yesterday. And anonymous is the game here. countless industrial buildings without any signs whatsoever of what they are or do.

Now THAT last link is the best since the invention of sliced bread. I'm positively not interested in seeing the 'continental, hemispheric, global' edit sets, only the area I map in.
NB does it include global sets that have made changes in my region of interest, for that I do not want to miss out on.

Great, but why does the whole mapping world have to know, and oddly again the boundary box hitting left top on the Berlin area and right bottom on South East Asia. Pretty please, split your edit sets i.e. edit in Germany, then save, then edit in Asia and save, as this is next to unreviewable.

The change set included dislodging various buildings from powerlines causing it to look much larger than the actual mapped residential area.

een andere mapper heeft je fietspad op het marineterrein verandert met CS changeset/107407153. Behalve dat vehicle=no niet nodig was geweest (het verbiedt ook fietsen ;o), ontgaat het mij waarom het plots een fiets-'straat' zou zijn hetwelk volgens de definitie en bijpassende bord wel motor vehicles toe staat. Vermoedt dat je wel met de actuele situatie bekend bent, waarschijnlijk een fietspad bord en of een verbods bord met het auto symbool i.d.
(pure interesse van mijn kant omdat ik 'cyclestreet' nog niet eerder tegengekomen was).

Frankly, I'm unable to fit the idea of this being a cyclestreet to what's written in the wiki, all 4 language versions: osm.wiki/NL:Key:cyclestreet#Nederland . A cyclestreet, on a navy base at that, not allowing motorcars e.g. is not a cyclestreet, just a bicycle track. Are the applicable signs in place?

Vehicle=no makes it a pretty empty street or as the German language wiki best describes "Offizielle Zugangsbeschränkung für Fahrzeuge aller Art, dazu gehören LKW, PKW, Busse, Traktoren, Motorräder, Mofas, Fahrräder.". No bicycles either. where the Taginfo description of cyclestreet is "A '''cyclestreet''' is a street designed as a bicycle route, but on which cars are also allowed". Think some exception tagging is in order. At least the OSM route tester refuses to use the way other than by foot.
