| 181815628 | One cause is when ID doesn't have the full MP downloaded it will not warn for mistakes like unclosed and duplicate edges. There's a button next to the a relation to fetch all (when not all are downloaded) to get the proper warnings. That said, once understanding the issue, it took less than a minute to redraw a section of the changed outline, in JOSM naturelmente ;o). Follow/trace in this editor works like 1000 nodes a minute.... just hold the F key after the second node drawn and it will continue till the next cut, and if no cut, loop around ad infinitum when not looking at the screen ;o). AFAIK ID has the follow/trace function too to bigly speed up mapping side sharing polygons without need of cutting up and creating more breakable relations, like this one proofed to be brittle. happy mapping

| 181815628 | Hi dp7 Dont traced where the farmland relation got flagged as broken, so fixed it (some areas were nolonger inside) and added a few bits like wood patches and power line objects. Renders OK now, lest there was intend of the natural=wood tag on the farmland outline. happy mapping

| 181749440 | PS. It was actually a split off from a path that had that name, just before and still carries this name value as of this moment. Tagged the split as (farm) track, which is why it was v1. |
|
| 181749440 | Hi, There's actually a few dozen of these ways with this id3king reference out in the area you can root out (also some have ref:id3king as a tag). Seems from searching these comes from an external project and helps somehow to interface with OSM. Just left it, got other chickens to fry. ciao |

| 181423058 | Hi fbyron This 'outbuilding' you mapped got flagged because the street name in addr:street was incorrect... it's Strada Pandolfi, not Via. Since I did not remember that building ever having been there I put a note on it and today cycled by and took some pictures.
Happy Mapping
PS, we don't put descriptions of gates, ways etc in the name tag. I've removed those while reviewing your mappings of the past week. You can put those in 'description=*' and 'description:it=*' (latter tag is for those who choose to show the map in Italian instead of default English. |

| 148499749 | Hi, On one side it appears as a corner street name, on the backside it has an arrow. Usually country roads get the name of the locality where it is leading to, now seeing on Bing that the road is called 'Via Sant'Elena' and the road ref SP57. Have updated OSM adding destination:backward Frazione Sant'Elena per the direction sign. Happy mapping

| 177186902 | Thanks for replying so quick. I now suspect you meant the ref: tag to be ref:id3king of which there are only 18 worldwide on OSM and then the value =279. I'll correct it when my mouse gets near the track again. (easy to find with JOSM)

| 177186902 | Hi bigpaolo Can you tell me what the key 'ref:' is? You added this to this 'path' which actually has to be changed to a farm highway=track as used by 4 wheel agricultural and the farmer's (4wd) car no doubt. Given surface=ground it needs to have tracktype grade4 or grade5. Routers do not allow motorvehicle use on these ways with the path value. The 'ref:' key has been applied 24x worldwide... think it is not correct, maybe something missing. Please correct.
PS I truly do not understand why all the hiker mappers put highway=path on these farm tracks and 99 out of 100 withoout grading. It misleads bicycle routers as well as without qualification they'll send racing bikes up these ways. Only tracktype grade4/5 stops this happening. |

| 181158968 | OK, resolved... the natural=wood tag was also on the forest outline way. Now it renders correctly. |
|
| 181099386 | Hi, You added tags to a house added addr:street=contrada Villa Sibi which the address check program fails to find. The nearest road is Contrada San Comino which multiple mappers have confirmed. Where is this street on the OSM map as the address check fails? Also you changed steps to living_street. If the street are factually steps or flat steps, it's still deemed steps for OSM mapping purposes as living street would confuse routers. Can bicycles ascend, descend on this way without dismounting? happy mapping. |

| 179936498 | Hi, Are you sure this is the residential area and not the administrative boundary of Monte Mignone as there is an awful lot of farmland included in the area. Let us know as right now the tagging is flagged as incorrect to include a free standing label node cannot be part of a multipolygon cheers |

| 179913147 | Hi, Made you tattoo parlor a separate Point of interest from the entrance address and added shop=tattoo to make it visible on the map. cheers |
|
| 179972340 | Hi sscotty71 Don't know for whom you made these wetland tags on viewpoints, renamed a street as seeming some walking route and used generic names like scene 1, 2, 3, 4 but these have no place on Openstreetmap. I have undone them. If these were for same external project, then I suggest u look and umap to store this and use it for you project. I've copied this comment to one of change sets to for public awareness cheers |

| 100339208 | Hi ivanbranco Followed your suggestion and applied the species: prefix. Oddly with the recently added wikidata/pedia JOSM plugin it jumped me to Q721 which has the comment that the tag is a zoo,
Cheers
PS, it could be a (plant) zoo, as asking in a different way gave another wikidata link, but same picture.

| 140641359 | Hi dp7 You may have seen me going around mapping a lot in this region and splitting up forests with too many members. Today while 3 way splitting a 413 member one with countless small 'outer' sections too, stumbled on many scree areas that were not made 'inner'. Was that to be done or is there a 'for rendering' reason (something a mapper acknowledged up in the Alps/Dolomites.... all these zones seem to have more or less scrub growing in them of low to medium coverage. Cheers

| 152766265 | Hi, Plz see pictures taken on 06-03-2026 at various points between 216.6 and 241km along the ol Tiburtina Valeria (Don't know where the rest of the conversation went when you proposed to move SR5 to a reg_ref like tag, but the one appearing on the regular map is where the 'ref' tag applies. At about 222 junction near the Megalo
At about 217.5, where you can see the sign had a black S put on (it's always between like that, also my old cloud archive photos from 2021 shows this.
At about 228 just before the Pescara Ovest motorway entrance:
In Santa Teresa connection between the SS602 and SS5 from both directions:
Every single sign and massive road markings on the RAC between Pescara and Chieti it says SS5 Tiburtina or SS5 Popoli. All hectometer markers from 216.6 i.e. 216.VI have been gone since long i.e. one can only go by the direction and destination signs. As written before about the OSM 'on the ground' rule (wiki has just been refreshed) and the short-circuited brainwave of some penpushers, the reversal back to SS5 between any KM between Pescara Porta Nuova and Pratola Preligna is overdue. You can undo your edits or I'll bring in the howitzer reversing tool of JOSM. Where SR5 goes I frankly don't care. It was a paper excersize and far as I remember the story, they did not know how fast to reverse when they realized what the overeagerness would result in. ciao |
