Hi,

please dont start changing tags when you have not been on site. These trolley buses are battery powered on the section there's no wire, and there is no wire from Viale Europa to Pala dean Martin and back route to the Viale Libertà.

cheers

Ran that tweak in FireFox which is non-chrome based. Got a toolbar icon which currently tells me I need to sign in to get the trace overlay.

Went to visit on bike. The path to the cave start right at back of Carabinieri. About 250 meters down, a path, very steep concrete steps, more steps in wood thru tunnel, man made cave.

Not where you mapped the area, it's much larger. My GPS trace was very bad, so can't map the exact path and steps route.

Mappa solo l'ingresso della grotta, indica il nome ufficiale o Il muri e allega il link che ti ho inviato con il tag osm.wiki/Tag:website=., orari di apertura quando esiste. Rimuovi l'area.

Hi, Welcome to OSM,

What is the basis of your 'grotto'? way/1528194429 Been many times to Atri but never seen or heard about this. Since we have mappers who put beaches on mountains and wetland on the boulevard, and more objects that are really related to games and nothing real got to ask. Without reply this will be removed.

happy mapping.

Hi,

Goodoos on you for starting to unglue landuse areas from roads/highways. No doubt the many road cuts made to do the gluing can now be merged back too, less road sections, easier routing computations... select identical tagged road sections with identical relations if any, hit the plus sign in right click ID pop-up menu and its done (you knew that already ;o).
Did cut a few areas off your monster multipolygons and converted these to simple polygons. This makes the map/data very robust against errors and casual mappers and the data processing on the data consumer side substantially lighter, much less overhead. Consider to adopt the practice... break one polygon and you dont turn the whole area around it white, failing to render. With the Trace (F)ollow key it's very rapid to draw a new polygon way along a previous on the their shared sides. In my JOSM it easily does 1000 nodes per minutes. The nodes are already there, so it does not add data load on the OSM servers, no relation to verify constantly, just a polygon outline of e.g. landuse=farmland,, by far the lightest form to enter landcover to render.

Sorry, anytime someone touches the SS16 route a nation long BoundBox is created. This needs splitting per region or even province and then combined into a super route.. Will limit the version changes now on v2083... and counting

Hi dp7,

In case you've not noticed, there's a mapper by name of minamo doing the rounds and deleting objects left right and center as was done here to include deleting scrub zones and then making it part of wood. If you have Better OSM org as an add on to ID in your web browser the visualization of what he all deleted in in this CS changeset/182275974#map=16/43.47364/13.11696 and then who over writes that with small sections of landuse where it cant be square enough and leaving inter area gaps. At any rate this action happened about 15 days ago. I notified the @DWG but they seem to be to busy for this, so finally today took it upon myself to restore as much as possible as it was, needing some hands-on because of those partial over writes. My restore work is in changeset/183309749. Added some loose trees and tows and other small landcover bits while there. Let me know if something was missed and I'll get on it. Undeleting is real easy in JOSM, just needs some applied method not to cause conflict

PS his first run-in with upset mappers was in 2016 resulting in 2 blocks, then went utterly zedro mapping and then starting 3-4 weeks ago in Northern Italy working his way down and now running havoc in the greater area of Terdizio. His neis page shows where. https://hdyc.neis-one.org/user/minamo So far CS comments and PM gave zero response, same as to all the comments back in 2016 to include comments by woodpeck repair.

Hi,

Went to read your past history communications to you. The German speaking sector was unhappy with you and a series of reverts took place of items you deleted particularly which exist both in Bing of whatever image tile date is on OSM and 2026 imagery. Noting this for the record so we have backup in that nothing has changed since years ago in what you practice A whole vineyard disappeared with everything in it... you seem to have a particular issue with scrub and trees and tree groups. Copying @DataWorkGroup @Woodpeck repair on this saga to expand awareness of the current affairs. You get comments and private messages and we know you receive them. You respond to none at all. That you may do, ignoring, but it does not make the problem go away. Todays issue with this completely unneeded edits and deletions... you got an issue with trees, scrub patches, road fringes, small farmland patches, anything that is not straight? Whatever, leave it alone, and I'm not saying please. If you can't, you might want to just concentrate on things you seem to do fine, albeit, deleting objects and than redrawing them as that may be convenient to you is a no-no. OSM wants preservation of history since when an object first entered the map to when it seizes to exist... for that there is lifecycle tagging, so the next mapper who uses different imagery does not think an object is missing and redraws it. Lifecycle tags make items invisible to the map but not to the mapper. At any rate. You are being watched until you find yourself in the department of blocked, your history shows you had several.
Now, collaborate, please, it is not your map where only your vision applies, it's everyone's.

That bus stop, aside the basic tags missing, really disappeared. Been an ACA sewer construction zone since a one year+. for the full length from corner del Re to the roundabout.

Hi,

This large building looks dilapidated, anything but a ruin though. I've just mapped the tower missing in the outline, very well visible in MapBox 2026 and some crossings and marked stop spots while there

Hi,

The addresses you put in with Contrada San Silvestro, an 'o' at the end are problematic for 2 reasons. For 1 change set you refer to ANNCSU which has on the address search page https://www.anncsu.gov.it/it/consultazione-dellarchivio/ricerca-strade-e-numeri-civici/ a license reference of CC-BY 4.0 which is not compatible with OSM i.e. we can not use them. 2). ANNCSU is highly inaccurate and so it was confirmed again. Did a survey from the bottom at Carlo Totaro in Silvi. First city begin sign corner with Borsolino says Santo Stefano and the address tags that I could find said Contrada Santo Stefano,. Then as following the road uphill (done many fast downhills there from Pianacce), there's end/begin signs of Santo Stefano and a little furthers there's city begin/end signs saying 'San Silvestre' with an 'e' at the end. As following the road thru, near a B&B the end/begin sign say San Silvestre with an E. That's pretty darn official to me. Then at the B&B the address shield says, yes, Via San Silvestre 97, not Contrada San Silvestro. So, think those ANNCSU addresses have to come off tout suite. Many names in ANNCSU do not match what's' on the ground and I sent you several CS comments before about that ANNCSU versus 'on the ground' conflict. The numbers and placement are UNreliable... they forgot a digit in the coordinates which easily puts address numbers on the wrong side of the road or wrong building and the mssing digit in effect locates every single address inaccurately, Worse a survey in Pescara revealed a whole group of numbers don't exist at all... only the even number. The odd ones are a mirage. Who's inventing them I don't know, I just know that Entrata has often none matching addresses such as my own street where they write to me as Via, but the old and new corner signs say Strada, and that is what we map, OSM rule, I strongly recommend you revisit all of these ANNCSU sourced data and back them out. You were so kind to put tags on some, the database shows
69 source:name=ANNCSU
42 source=ANNCSU
Cant say all are you's but an overpass query show a large number in Abruzzo. Easily retraceable in the OSM Db.
To repeat CC-BY 4.0 is not a compatible license to OSM, ANNCSU is inaccurate, unreliable, unfit for purpose. Can't use.

Hi,

Embarrassed, not seen the bridge tag.. Propose where it connects to the house maybe entrance=yes and level=1 to dot the eyes and take any doubt away. Was a tally looking for the footway=residential usage in Italy, very lean, a concentration in this village. in fact JOSM does not offer the value so made custom preset with a wiki link. They won't add values unless hitting 10K in Taginfo last I was told few years ago.

Ciao

Hi,

Why is this footway way/1515395309 on layer=1 ?

Hi,

Am going to revert all your excessive simplifications of area outlines. Refine, OK, not the other way around.
BTW for a simple tree row you draw single line and tag is as natural=tree_row, not a box.
For current imagery, Mapbox 2026 is advised to verify if landuse, buildings, what not have not changed. Finding many cases where Bing proofs to be substantially outdated.

Happy Mapping.
