Hello.
When adding color or other tags, please ensure that they are in lower case. There are few exceptions, such as proper names, which can be capitalized, but wast majority of tags should be just lower case. πŸ‘

It's not about living in NY, it's about following the guidelines of OSM and noticing when iD's template warnings are incorrect. πŸ™‚

Hello.
When editing, it's generally better to try update existing features to the current state rather than delete them and create new features. This way you are preserving history of that feature which can be useful to refer to in the future if the need arises. πŸ‘

Hello Michael.
Let's not start edit wars.
Based on my research I have not been able to find any documentation that Dorman Square actually exists. I found some old articles that wanted to establish it, but I haven't found anything that confirms it actually happened.
That small grass square's doesn't have a proper name of "Greenstreets"

Hello.
The way you updated node/9403340351 looks incorrect. This business looks like "Next Level Fasions", and not "Next" with location name of "Level Fasions".

Additionally, regarding way/250372535, tagging opening_hours=closed is not a correct way to indicate that a business is closed. Best way to do is to use lifecycle prefixes as documented at osm.wiki/Lifecycle_prefix or at least just delete business-specific info from it.

Personally, I wouldn't do relations from panels on roofs. It seems like needless data complexity for something relatively simple.

Hello.
What is the source of this data?

Actually, it looks like the name was changed in the previous edit, not by you. I apologize for that.

Hello.
This and other associated edits are going to be reverted in full.
It's inappropriate to just take random nearby address node and smack a name tag on it.
This building already has proper tags on its way.
Additionally, as documented in osm.wiki/Names#Abbreviation_(don't_do_it) you shouldn't abbreviate names.

Hello.
This information is already properly tagged on the relevant building way. Therefore, it is inappropriate to create another node with the same information since it goes against osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element guideline. As such this edit is going to be reverted in full.

Please note that we can not use any Google imagery, satellite or streetview to map in OSM. It is considered copyright violation.

Hello.
Could you please elaborate why did you delete some of these buildings since they are still visible on the satellite imagery?

It's not just about being able to u-turn, but to accurately represent road layout according to the established guidelines. I don't know the reason why DoT decided to install that median, but they considered it important, and I think it's also useful to represent that detail.
Also half of an avenue block is not what I'd call a tiny piece of road.

but you still didn't fix these damaged tags..

Hello.
Could you please elaborate why did you convert Webster Avenue section from dual way into a single one? From what I see on satellite imagery there's a physical median between west and east lanes.

Hello.
Based on satellite imagery to me this looks like 4 lanes, 2 forward and 2 back. The other is an on-street parking lane. Or am I misreading this?

Hello.
When you are converting solar panels from node to an area, you are also supposed to delete the node. :)
Also, solar panels are usually rectangular, so after you drew one, you can right-click on it and select "Make Square" (shortcut key Q) to make sure that it has right angles and looks neater. πŸ™‚
