New to this so comments on what I'm doing wrong are welcome.
The reason I'd added the name to the paths was:
A) Because it wasn't showing up on the map and I see this as important. I've modified the section between Portloe and Porthpean as that is what I had a gpx file for. This now currently shows where the South West Coast Path is. The sections either side of this don't and I think they should.

B) I was copying what had been done on the north coast.

Is there somewhere I could look at that describes the correct way of doing the naming? I'm happy to correct what I have done but if it means removing the SWCP name then I would want to ensure that there was an alternative method which caused it to show up on the actual map.
