Hi, you don't need to add motor_vehicle=no, horse=no and bicycle=no to all these footways, these access tags are already implied by the fact they're set as highway=footway. Simply adding access=customers to each footway would be preferable :)

@pitscheplatsch - replying #Spam doesn't fix the damage caused to the map or indicate why it was wrong to do this, you should either revert it or report it to someone else who will.

I have communicated with @Davie946 about this, and have changed the driveway to access=private. What happened was that CycleOSM was showing the driveway as green because of the presence of the access=destination tag (which CyclOSM clearly assume applies to motor vehicles only). Personally I always tag private driveways as access=private whether they're gated or not, and only use access=destination for 'No entry except for access' roads.

Hi, welcome to OSM! I have re-added the highway=service tags that you removed; the correct way of representing a private driveway is highway=service + service=driveway + access=private. Typically, access=no is used when access is physically impossible for anyone (e.g. a damaged bridge) or legally prohibited (e.g. a dual carriageway where pedestrians are prohibited)

Hi, where access=private, private access for bicycles, horse riders, pedestrians etc. is implied, so you don't need to add all the extra values, just access=private is sufficient.

Why are we changing the name of this stadium for a one-month event? We don't map temporary features such as construction and this is certainly a temporary name change. This feels like an overenthusiastic change to me.

Hi, thanks for your landuse additions. Please make sure not to draw natural areas such as woods over roads (way/1511194974) - although the tree canopy covers the road, the natural=wood area should end where the undergrowth stops and tarmac surface begins.

Hi, please take care not to add imprecise buildings from microsoft/BuildingFootprints - many building polygons added in this changeset cover multiple houses, such as way/1524333400 which is in reality a terrace of 3 houses and two semidetached houses. Adding very rough building shapes like this creates extra work for other mappers in the future who have to split them into individual houses. Thanks.

Hi, for your reference, the entire construction area isn't going to be a theme park, only the area south of Manor Road. The Northern area is going to mixed use retail/commercial & nature reserve. I've also added the new name that has been announced (Universal United Kingdom Resort)

Thanks for clarifying the access here, for reference access=private is best in this scenario, access=no is more for when it is physically impossible to use the highway, or for restrictions imposed by the highways agency. If any other tracks or service roads around Tregassow Farm are private, feel free to add access=private to them too.

Hi, what information service are you referring to? You shouldn't change correct tags in OSM just because a 3rd party is not interpreting them correctly. These busways were tagged bus=no because they are exclusively for guided buses, they cannot be used by regular buses. You also added psv=yes, which is not correct because this would allow taxis to enter here, and they are in fact prohibited from doing so. I would suggest that you give feedback to the service you are using that they should adjust their rendering to take into account this situation. OSM is only for mapping real features, please do not add fictional bridges. I have reverted all three changesets because they damaged the ferry routes and port at Ballycastle.
